You should have called a vet asap, so do so when you can. You're hamster may be old-Mine died of natural causes around that age. Yours sounds like its bleeding eternaly or has a disease of some sort-maybe worms?. Could it have eaten anything that could have punctured something inside?
I'm sorry your scared and that your pets sick :( It's very sad.
Please make it very cmfortable, but i'm afraid there's nothing anyone can do unless you call a vet.

Unfortunately you probably already know that even if they find out what is wrong with her, it is probably too late to do anything about it. Try to keep her comfortable in her last days and if you think she may be in pain then do the humane thing and have her put to sleep, but make sure you stay with her. There is nothing worse than letting them take an animal into the back room and having your beloved pet die in the arms of strangers...:(

I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I could do to help. Just know that there are many people here that do care and do understand what you are going through.

Take care.

Hamsters have a relatively short life span. Up to 3 years. 18 months of age is the usual life span. Because of her age, she may have some sort of intestinal disorder, or a tumor could be causing other organ disfunctions. I'm sorry to say it, but you may want to have her put to sleep if you do not want to see her suffer. You can always get another cute little hamster...

i had a hamster that litteraly had his insides blow out of his rectum. The vet said it is fairly common from over feeding, or too much undigestable food, like too many sunflower seeds. stop feeding him anything hard, like seeds, and just give him milk or water for a couple days then when you start feeding him again, start with very little amounts till she stops bleeding. hamsters store their food in their cheeks, and will not stop as long as there is food, so give them what they need, and no more. the winter is comming and they like to hoard food out of instinct, for the winter. hope it helps, i lost eddie van(the finest hamster iv'e ever known), he couldn't play guitar worth a crap, but he was still eddie van hamster.

She probably has worms. Examine the feces. See anything? Even so, you should take her to a vet to get de-wormed. Keep her litter clean.
