How do you file a rabbits toenails?

we just clipped our rabbits toenails .... How should we file them and what should we use

I use a plain old orangestick and it works well to round out the edges. You need to hold the bunny like you did for the clipping and go gently. :)

You can use an emery board or nail file and gently scrape the nail a few times to take off the sharp edges.

leave the toenails alone. it can be dangerous to do anything with them. let the rabbit outside in a safe habitat more often.
