So I just bought a lionhead who seems to be about a few weeks old. And I have a dutch whos about 8 months old. I let them both out so they can get to know each other, but the dutch seems to keep wanting to get on it, and seems to be humping it. The wierd thing is, is that the dutch is neutered. If anyone has any idea how I'll be able to bond them, it'll be appreciated.
If not, do you think it would be alright if i let them both out at different times? I'd really like to keep the lionhead, im in love with it.

Please and thank you.

^.^

And, isnt neutering a rabbit supposed to get rid of its sperm?

The lionhead also seems to get startled when the dutch gets on her.

Neutering does not always remove the breeding urge. My neutered dog will find any ***** in heat within three miles. By all means let them out separately. It is possible the Dutch will get over this though, this is something new and stimulating. After awhile he may get bored with it

Humping is not always a sign of mating. It's also what rabbits do to show dominance. This is why males will hump males and females hump females and females hump males and such. They're not freaky, they're trying to show the other who is the 'top dog', so to speak.

Maybe rabbits do this and still get along fine as long as they establish an order, yknow. Sometimes if you have two really agressive territorial bunnies, they'll try to hump one another and end up fighting.

As far as bonding, do it in a neutral territory. Meaning don't put on bunny in the other's cage right away. This may be too much too soon. Instead take them somewhere like a bathroom tub or room where neither has been and start introducing them to each othere there.

Sometimes neutering doesn't get rid of their "urges", especially with rabbits. You may end up having to keep them seperated, that's what I did with my rabbits. I don't see any reason why you can't keep both of them though, just give them each their own playtime.
