I've heard of breeders with 7 dogs and they were quite content with their zoo :-) . I figure it's a matter of space, finances, and how much work you're willing to put up with. My mom has a fit thinking about caring for 2 dogs. I'm quite content with 20 birds, 6 rats (not including babies from an accidental litter), 3 guinea pigs, 2 cats (and a parrrrtridge in a pear treee :-D ). Did I mention I live alone? Did I mention **I** want to add a service dog to the mix?
yeah. I'm crazy. :-D

That depends on you I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, a ferret, a hamster and some fish.
I would like to get more but first don't have teh room or the money to keep up another animal.
Also just asking/suggesting--- Your son I don't kow how old wants a pup/dog how much does he help with what you already have and can he actually take some responsability if it is what he wants. I'm meaning maybe not pay everything but even a $1 a week ( depending on age) to maybe help with food to give him teh specific responsability if it's what HE wants.

If you have the love, the space, and the finances for another dog then I see no problem. But dogs live a good number of years - Will you still be able to look after that many dogs in the years to come? If "yes" to all the above then go for it!

It all right as long as:
1. You have the space, (inside and outside)
2. You're not breaking any ordinances regarding the number of dogs allowed.
3. You have enough money for food, root beer, buying CDs, etc.
4. MOST IMPORTANT: Do have the love and patience.

wow sounds like a zoo =P it depends. Animals such as dogs and cats require a lot of attention and looking after. You can't just let them take care of themselves. It depends on how much time you can spare them and how many people are taking care of them. I have 4 dogs but we can manage as there are 5 people in our family =)

i think of which you should be arranged to offer a canine what it desires in step with somebody foundation. What a breed replaced into bred to do could supply you a good indication of what's had to maintain it contented, yet i do no longer think of the remarkable activity desires to be replicated, in straightforward terms a eye-catching modern option. My emotions are that a badly behaved canine, in any experience of the be conscious, isn't being given what it desires in terms of activity and stimulation. adequate exercising and stimulation desirable from the beginning up will keep away from any "uncontrollable" situation in any respect - intense barking, pooping interior the domicile, pulling on the lead, fleeing the scene, separation rigidity, destruction, aggression, and so on - you call it. particular, i think of it somewhat is ok to have a canine as a puppy, if the canine is a good weight (no longer in basic terms too fat to bypass), properly behaved and contented provided that shows the canine is chuffed, that's the considerable element. whether the canine is a undeniable breed or a mutt is irrelevent, that in basic terms shows what variety of activities they could appreciate extra. Any canine desires exercising and stimulation and if i had to take a wild wager, i could are looking forward to approximately 80 5% of canine are not getting adequate.

Well you have to look at your county limit to see how many is limit. If your county doesn't have a limit I think that 4 is too many. You have over 20 pets, but maybe if it's a small dog it would be ok

I would say it depends on how much room you have left and if you have enough attention to give to another dog.
