OK, so when my boss was getting ready to go to Italy and asked me to house/guinea pig sit, I said sure because it was the day before and I knew he was in a bind. He said it was better than hiring a pet sitter. We did not discuss compensation but I figured he had a lot on his mind. I drove out there every day, a round trip drive of about 19 miles. The day before he and his wife were to return, I bought a few groceries for them so they'd have some food to nibble on when they got home instead of running right to the store. When he came back he said they'd appreciated that and would pay me back for them.

I gave him back his keys the other day. This morning he said he was going to the ATM to get money so he could pay me. Yippee.... So he just came in and gave me $29.....for the groceries....and nothing else. So, here's my dilemma, do I go in and ask him if he was planning on paying me for house sitting, or was it my own stupidity to not discuss payment before I accepted the gig?

Suggestions?

I heard something about when a cat was cold, so the cat went and lay on baby's face to warm up. Baby suffocated and past away. I heard the same about dogs. So pets can be very risky to little children?

I am so sick of seeing several questions on here:

What do I name my cat? There is puss coming out of my pet what do I Do? When can I breed my dog? My dog is sick what do I do? Hekp me name my puppy? Is my cat cute?

I use to see alot of great questions asked here and latly it seems they are either poeple looking for attention or just asking stupid question to have something to ask!!

My daughter' s pony is very overweight due to her not treating her properly. She is not riding her enough and she is giving her too much treats. I called my local vet and she gave me the proper foods to feed her. She told me that I should start riding the pony because i am heavier and it will help the pony to loose weight. She also told me to take her on long rides so the pony starts to sweat a lot. I have started to do so but the problem is that my 10 year old daughter is not happy at all. She says I am to rough on the pony. I keep telling her that the pony has to loose weight because it is very unhealthy. On Tuesday she came back from a holiday with school and she saw me riding back to the stable on her pony. When she came up to me she burst out crying cos she could see the sweat all over the horse and also on my levis jeans. She said that I am way too rough on the pony. I am now starting to think that I could be too rough on the pony. Do you think so? or should I keep it up?

Hi. I have a relative who lives in Russia (in the southern far east region) and he is a farmer. He noticed a Siberian tiger cub, who was dying out of starvation and weakness, because for some unknown reason it seemed to have been abandoned by its mother, tigress. He then picked up the cub and brought it home, and kept it as pet from thereon. My concern is that it is rapidly gaining size and weight and the relative says that even if the cub grows into a full grown 650+ lbs tiger, he plans to keep it as pet because he has already house trained the cub and domesticated it. is he making a wise decision or a risky decision?

To anyone who is considering getting a new puppy I would like you to please go to
www.puppymillrescue.com I post this often as possible to help raise awareness of the effort going on to shut down puppymills and for the dogs this rescue league has avalaible for adoption from the mills they have gained access to and were able to shut down. If you are considering buying a puppy from a pet store please go to this site because 9 times out of 10 this is where your puppy is coming from and by buying them you are helping to keep their parents in a lifetime of torture. Even if you are not thinking of getting a new dog look anyways so you can become more aware of how you can help and maybe help educate other people on this horrible cruelty that is allowed to happen because there are not enough people that know the facts and are willing to make a difference. I should ad that parts of this website are graphic so under 18 have a parent look first. Thanks to the people responded before.

For the last few months I have been dog sitting. The dog I am looking after is as good as gold.

However a few weeks ago he was a little bugger.
Why did he behave like this? Obviously he didn't say to himself 'I am going to play up today'

Is it something to do with his hormones or what?

Answers appreciated.

Can these 3 animals live in the same house? I can close the door to where the dwarf hamsters are but I'm still concerned for their safety I don't want to come home to find them being eaten by the new kitten he wants (which will soon turn into an adult cat). Anyone else tried this?
