yes they love that! thats the best thing you could give a bunny! loves cuddles and attention. and you will find they give it you back. if you can afford one go and get one! im sure you will be able to look after the bunny more than the pet shop. best luck

It depends on their character/personality. According to House Rabbit Society, rabbits dont like being carried. Mine do, altho I have had most of them since the day they were born. Rabbits only like to be carried for a short time, they enjoy running free more.
Having a rabbit doesnt make the same pet as a cat or dog. Some cats are very cuddly. Where rabbits arent always. they will bite you (nibble) if they want to be put down. Not only that but they are an exotic pet to have. What I mean is that there is more to caring for them than a cat or a dog. You have to watch + make sure they eat pellets, hay daily, fresh water, clean cage wkly. You have to clean their bum of poop if they get clogged, you should learn their body language + general behavior, so you'll know when they're sick, then I would highly recommend joining a rabbit group to get more information. I have had rabbits for almost 12 yrs + have learned more about them than I thought I would have to.
Best suggestion I can give you is, do lots of reading about them, then decide if you really want one. better to do this than find out later, that cuteness is the only thing you like about the rabbit. Lots of people just release the rabbit in the wild thinking they're doing it a favor ! Wild rabbits live 2 yrs, how long would a domestic one live for ?
They really aren't as cuddly as a cat : (
Rabbits life span is 6 - 8 yrs old, sometimes older
* why not see if there's somewhere that you could volunteer at a rabbit rescue, so you can see whats all involved + ask questions too. Adopting from a rescue or SPCA is saving a life. : )

this depends on teh rabbit and how you train it.
I have had several and I het tehm from breeders so I know what I am really getting. Often pet shops will sell large rabbits saying they are dwarfs.
I start to hold tehm right away and after a short time they will want to be held all teh time.
I have saved some older ones that never get held and tehy want nothing to do with people except for you to feed and clean tehm.
This really goes with any animal youmight consider getting.

Check out the different breed of rabbits they have and see what characteristics they have and from there you will be able which is best. My daughter had a rabbit that was good as a show rabbit and it loved to be held. He was a Himalayan.
Himalayans are a unique breed. There is no other breed as gentle and easy to handle. Their gentle, loving nature puts them in a class unto itself. Their small size and weight allows for smaller cage space and lower feed bills than many other breeds of rabbit.
He was the perfect pet rabbit.

No I had a boy rabbit. He was SOOO lovely but he didn't like being picked up or sitting on my lap. He was very friendly though.
I have been told that most rabbits are like that. Get guinea pigs if you want an animal which doesn't mind if you pick them up and they sit on your lap for hours without budging! They like to be stroked and fed treats.

My 2 year old male, has never wanted to be picked up and cuddled. When he wants his ears scratched, or to be petted
he will come looking for that, other wise he likes just doing his own thing.

i adopted a mini lop from the shelter, she doesn't like to be picked up or cuddle too much. when she wants to be pet, she'd jump on my lap.

Of course!
But there are times where they don't and jump out of your hand if they dont like it.
