If you really want the best pet, you'll first have to be a very responsible person. So , it basically depends on what you lifestyle is.
Let's say you get a dog, you will have to walk it everyday..but the more time you spend with it, the more it becomes fond of you. But you might have to train it also.
I would say.. if your looking for a pet that you do not need to care for every minute, I suggest a fish. But I cannot tell you what you want.
But basically it depends on your lifestyle. HOPE I HELPED!!!! :)

The best pet to have is the one you're most willing and able to care for. If you have the time, love, and finances available ~ the sky's the limit (within reason). Take a look at your environment, your lifestyle, your schedule, your finances ~ and then take into consideration if any of those things are likely to change in the future ~~ then make your decision based on what you still find doable and interesting. Depends on your personality.
Adventerous = dog
Sensitive = cat
Shy = mouse/ hamster
Mysterious/ misunderstood = snake
Quite = fish
But it's not a rule or anything. Hope you find the right pet!

A Dog. Any good dog. But you have to be a good pet owner and spend time with them. Otherwise a Gold fish.

Depends on your lifestyle. I love my Weimaraner, but they're not for everyone. Very high maintenance and energetic. If you want something that doesn't require as much attention, get a cat. Something cheap and free of vet bills? A hamster or guinea pig.

Definately a ferret you can play with them like a dog but they're small and use litter boxes like cats.

it depends! if u hav enough room an time u can get a nice family dog. or a cat they're pretty clean animals most of da time. but it all depends on ur place an time.

I have a bunny... a lop. It has floppy ears and loves nilla wafers. I think she's addicted.
Rats are cool too. With proper attention they can be calm and not bite. One of our rats will sit on your shoulder when you drive. It's cool.
