I've never seen it done with mice, but I had a friend that once shot bottle rockets in front of bull frogs so they would catch them.
I thought it was cruel then and still do.

That is horrible! Every living creature has the right to be treated with resepect! May be we should shove one of those rockets somewehere up you and set it off. I bet we would all get a laugh out of it!

I think this is cruel. I do not like mice but still they do not deserve to be used as a firecrackers.

Mice are sentient beings (proven fact bozo so don't ignore that). Sentient means they have feelings. So yeah it's cruel and illegal too as it's considered as 'causing unnecessary suffering'!

You didn't say whether the mouse should be alive or not. If alive it's very very cruel and likely to get you arrested, It might be funny if it's already died of natural causes though? what possible harm could you do it after it's dead?

If they are alive, it is probably illegal in your state. You would be surprised how serious crimes against animals are. In some states that would be a felony. They don't distinguis between torturing someone's family pet and a rat.
