It really depends on what sort of dog I guess because I have two Guinea pigs and when I brag inside to my dog she barked at my Guinea pigs and my dog is a Chihuahua so I'm pretty sure you could try to introduce them to each-other but I'm not exactly sure what Will happen Good Luck... Emmy

I have two chihuahuas and my girl loves my guinea pig. When I put the guinea pig in the grass in the back yard my dog follows her around.

Again it all depend I have a guinea pig whose name is Cowey(my little brother named it) and a dog who is a toy fox terrier and his name is Forrest Gump. Cowey and Forrest get along shockingly well. Forrest will sniff Cowey and walk away without barking at Cowey if anything like that,

If your dog is calm then your can slowly and patiently introduce them to one another. Remember NEVER leave your guinea pigs alone with a dog without close supervision.
I have a 1 year old lab and 2 guinea pigs and they like to sniff eachother. My dog would never viciously attack them but would probably accidently killl them by trying to play.

I used to have both a dog and a guinea pig. I would hold the piggy up to my dog's nose, and he never reacted to it, but the guinea pig bit him. She used to cuddle up to him as well.
I guess it mainly depends on your dog. We had an American Eskimo Spitz.

if you introduce them correctly. I have 4 dogs and 2 guinea pigs I can let my guinea pigs out and teh dogs just nuzzle tehm and one even tries to nurse it.( don't worry she's fixed and never had pups but she still tries to nurse teh guinea pigs.

no dont let your dog near a guinea pig he just might eat it unless your dog is really well behaved and calm

We had a dachshund who killed are guinea pig. I believe it was attracted to the squeaky noises from the guinea pig. I believe dachshund still were probably bred to get mice and such rodants. But I understand other dogs will get along with them especially chihuahuas. I would be careful while introducing them. Keep a close eye on them for a while.
