If I were to keep 2 Freshwater Angel fish about 1.5" from mouth to tail.

What is the minimum size of the tank?
Is it ok if I have other small fishes in the tank?
Is it ok if my room has a temperature of 23 degrees celcius?

I have a male betta fish and before we moved him he was happy and swam all the time and was excited to see me and to eat his meals. I dont overfeed him and I am very particular to what he eats (no pellets he actually refused to eat those). So a few days after we brought him to my college he started to swim on his side and refused to eat much. Now all he does is lay on his side either at the surface or on the bottom of his tank. He seems bloated/swollen in the stomach area. I have done minimal research and I think it may be a swim bladder infection but I am not sure how to treat the condition (the pet store did nothing to help me out on treating my poor fish either). So I want to know if it could be something else and how I should treat any of the conditions it could be especially the swim bladder issue. I just want him to get better and not die because i am officially attached to him.

Thanks you,
Stephanie

I have a dwarf puffer in a nice little filtered tank. About a week ago I noticed that some blood worms were starting to mold near the top of the tank. I thought the problem would clear itself up but now it's worse! I can't tell if my puffer has stopped eating or if it's a problem with the tank. Any suggestions? What else could I try feeding it?? (We've had it for a couple months now and this is just now happening)

I read somewhere that you should skip a day of feeding to help your fishes digestive system. Is this true? (please only answer if you're knowledgeable in the area of Betta fish)

I have a male crowntail betta and I notice that from time to time, he rests on the bottom of the tank on the gravel and doesn't move much. When I move the tank to get his attention, he jolts up and starts swimming again.

Does my betta have health problems or is this common? What can I do?

My fish aren't eating well and I don't know what to do. I replaced the water and now they don't eat I 've tried to put AquaSafe into the tank but they still don't eat ( they are angelfish). Please help, they also stay in mostly one side of the tank except the little one who I mentioned earlier and I can't do much to make them active. Can you please help me on how to make them active and eating again I don't want them to die. Please help. Thank you so much for answering.

I have goldfish eggs which i only noticed today while changing the water in my tank. I have 3 shubunkins in the proper size tank and by the looks of things only one fish has egged!(im guessing by the small amount of eggs) how do i know if they have been fertilized? They are kinda the same colour as the fish food, a see-through-ish yellowy orangey colour! iv taken the eggs out and put them in a diff tank with water from the original one. I would love to try and breed them but have no clue as to how! (as you can tell) could someone let me know?!

Many thanks

Kendra

I have 3 goldfish(fantails) in my tank. I have been feeding them fish flaked but I personally believe that live foods are better for them as it is much more 'natural' and will stop their constipation. I have been doing a bit of research and I believe that feeding them pea's is the easiest and most convenient for me. What is the best way to go about this? How many peas do I put in per fish and should I thaw them before I put them in the tank?
Thanks

I have a 35 gallon fresh water aquarium, it has one sliver dollar in it, two angle fish, one beta shark, one mini cat fish and one bottom dweller. It has a duel oxygenation system, a filter, various fake plants, etc. The problem is the underside of the aquarium light hood keeps getting green from algae and the water is never crystal clear anymore. I know about checking the
nitrates, and ph balance and that when you clean the water you need to leave some of the old water at the bottom so that the ecosystem doesn't get messed up. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make the water crystal clear again (I suction the rocks about once a month), and how to keep the underside of the hood from not getting green all the time from algae. I was also wondering how many more fish I could possibly add to the tank, what other fresh water fish are compatiable, etc.
