You need an air pump and the line that connects the pump to the stone. Also available are bubble wands and diffusers which I think are more attractive than the air stone.

Dr Fosters and Smith have lots of options for these.

A small air pump and a length of plastic tubing to connect to the air stone (it just diffuses the air from the pump to make smaller bubbles) will get the job done.

Cost is about $5-6 depending on the brand. Also, if your tank is deep, you might have to get a special deep water pump that is stronger than the regular ones. Tetra makes a good one called Tetra "Deep Water" that is sold in most pet or fish stores. They are about $7-8.

The bubbles actually add very little O2 to the water, it is the current that the bubbles create that allows the O2 from the atmosphere to be absorbed by the moving water so the fish can breathe it.

You will need a air pump, tank plastic tubes and either a air stone or diffuser tube. Research around for a quiet air pump - I have had loud pumps and it is very distracting if the tank is in a living area. Invest in a good pump cause it will make a huge difference in terms of noise. And also get a "drip guard". It is a mechanism to put between the tubes in case the pump failed to prevent water from back filling from tank into the pump via the tube causing electric damage. It is important to have that for safety reasons. Besides looking good - air current are good for most fishes.

Well, these other answers are good, but if you're really keen, buy a airstone, connect the plastic tubing, plug that into a straw and blow!!!!
