I have a dwarf puffer in a nice little filtered tank. About a week ago I noticed that some blood worms were starting to mold near the top of the tank. I thought the problem would clear itself up but now it's worse! I can't tell if my puffer has stopped eating or if it's a problem with the tank. Any suggestions? What else could I try feeding it?? (We've had it for a couple months now and this is just now happening)

Any food that your fish doesn't eat is considered excess food and should be taken out several minutes after your fish has been fed. This will prevent your water from becoming dirty too quickly.

Make sure you're doing a 20% water change weekly, but right now you should do a water change, remove the mold from the top of the tank, and rinse your filter parts under warm water.

Never use any chemicals to clean anything in your tank because it can kill your fish.

you should never leave extra food sitting around. it makes the water go bad really fast.

you probably want to clean up the whole filter apparatus if you have mold because it usually doesn't go away by itself.

i suggest you get a bunch of really small snails from the pet shop. they are a puffers favorite food and if you can get them to make more little snails then you will have a endless supply of live food for your puffer.

Read that, it has ton's of info
I think the teeth of you puffers are too long, you need to supply them with constant source of snails
