how many gallons does it hold

I have a 10 gal. aquarium with 1 Betta, 3 Cory Catfish, and 5 Neon tetras. I just want to know if I can add any ghost shrimp or Rasboras. If not can I add any other fish? Thanks to all that answer. If you need to know anything else about the tank, just ask.

I just got another 10 gallon tank...I'm not rich.. already had the goldfish in one, with a light, but the light was warming up the water too much and making it unsafe for my goldfish... I've got some guppies in the other 10 gallon now, side by side... with the light on it. My goldfish hasn't seemed active at all since I took the lid off with the lights... He's sitting in the corners.. I've got some decor in his tank so he can hide too, so what's wrong?

I have a large tank of 12 fancy goldfish. Recently about 4 have taken to sitting on the bottom, feeding ok and swimming ok but spend alot of time just on the bottom. Another fish tucks itself in the corner, head down, tail up. The tail and a little underneath looks like its got red streaks? About a week ago I indtroduced 4 new fish to the tank along with the water they came in, and about 3 weeks ago I moved the tank downstairs and had to completely empty and refill it to do that. Most of the fish I've had trouble free for a number of years.

Like his fins and body's outline is red... and at first I thought he was bleeding but he's not. And I don't know what's wrong, I can't find anything on google. Please help? I don't want him to die :[ I love him.

My cichlids are getting old now and im purchasing a 55 gallon long aquarium for them. Now, lucky me, I have my 20 H aquarium with bio-wheel filter and standared heater to do whatever the hell I want to do with it. SO; I want to do a marine tank. I was thinking that I wanted to do a couple common clowns, a type of goby, a small starfish, a peppermint shrimp and some type of angel (either flame, coral beauty or lemon peal). Do you think this may be a good mix? What are some other cool fish (peaceful) that I could put in a 20 gallon H aquarium! Oh, and I was going to do live rock, with a crushed coral and live-sand substrate with corals and maybe an annenomme. Is this a good Idea? HELP!

We have 2 goldfish and for awhile the bigger one has been chasing the smaller one and beating him to the food at feeding time (well most of the food), during the last week the smaller one has been hiding at the bottom of the tank either in plants or under a bridge, this morning the smaller fish died. The bigger fish is ok but could he have bullied the smaller one to death????

this is the first time i've had algae in large patches on the sides of the tank. there was also an extremely large patch on the gravel. i use no more algae. what caused this?

They are just sitting at the bottom of the tank. I know the white pimples are ich and Ive treated the water with the medicine but why do they still have red blood spots and still at the bottom of the tank?? Please help. I love my poor fishies:(

I have 4 guppies, 4 neon tetras and 2 black tetras along with 3 guppy fry. They're all being kept in the same tank, although the fry are floating in a plastic tub above the others until I can set up a nursery tank. I was treating Ich using Interpet Aquarium solution #6 though the active ingredients are unknown. This appeared to be burning my fish so I decided to drastically cut the dose and raise the temperature of my tank. On very informed adivce I raised my tank to 84 intending on raising it to 88 but stopped because I was concerned for the fry, can the fry handle such extreme temperatures, especially since they are a few days old at present?. If I was going to do a salt bath, would this be wise with pregnant guppies? (one is showing a very darkened gravid spot).
As a result of cutting the dose, the signs of burning have lessened dramatically. I am also doing daily 10-20% water changes with the gravel siphon to try and reduce the ich levels in the water, is this wise?

My friend is purchasing a betta and in her 2.5 gallon tank it seems kind of bare. At the pet store an employee told me that some spieces of frog get along well with a betta. How would I care of these frogs? Can you take them out of water, what do they need? Ant info would be helpful (HELP MAGICMAN!)

Can betta fish get hole int he head...my friend has a few betta in a single tank w/ dividers. One died a few days ago I did not see it but one of he other ones has a sore between its eyes on the top of its head. It is still alive so I had her take it out and put it in a jar to keep it away from the others since they shair water. I think it is hole in the head, How do you treet this and how do they get it? I have never seen this befor and I have been keeping bettas for 10+ years.

I just got a 5.5 gal goldfish starter tank, and one of the things that came with it was an Elite Stingray 5 submersible filter. Does the whole thing go underwater? or do you keep the thingy moving water out of the top out of the water, to oxygenate the water with a waterfall? no aerator came with the kit (none mentioned on the box), so I was wondering if this was supposed to serve a dual purpose. Only the filter was in there, no box or instructions for just the filter. Also, how often should I change the filter cartridges? Don't say anything about being too stupid to own a fish, because at least I'm asking, and I bet all of you had lots of questions with your first couple of tanks! Thanks, sorry about the rant, people always post things about people not being responsible enough or not deserving to have fish.

I got 2 of them because they were really cheap 75p each, There sailfin type with like a sharp U tail and there orange and black mixed in, Is there a name for them or just mollies, Muts?
