She was in a ten gallon tank with many other fish, but i moved her to 1 gallon tank so she dosin't infect other fish. Right now she is barely breathing. She is at the bottom of the tank, leaning against the tank. She looks like she's about to explode. Eer stomash is the size of a pea. Her fins a little bit ripped. The tank was previously cleaned before i put her in. She ate allot of bloodworms bofore she was transfered, so she is eating. Please HELP, i'm afraid she doesin't have much time left.

I keep my male Beta in a pretty big bowl, probably 8-10 inches in diameter, and I have a big shell and a plant in there too. But I just found out that apparently your supposed to keep them in a very small space because they like it. I don't want to buy a new bowl, but would it be a good idea to put more stuff in it so it'll be more enclosed?
Or would it be an idea to get another fish, would that make it seem more enclosed as well? I know fighter fish will kill most other fish, but I think there is a certain species which they will tolerate. Which species is it? Please make sure, because I am really squeamish around blood and dead stuff and that, and I also have a really soft heart for animals, so I would probably be traumatized if one of them died if I got another fish.
Please explain! Should I put more stuff in the bowl, should I get another fish and if so, which type, or is my fish fine how he is? Thanks!

hnm... I have a 2 gallon bowl with 10 carnival goldfish and they're all at the top floating... why?

oh, I also had a male betta with my two female bettas and females killed the male then he big female killed the other female. why? can I put 3 crayfish from my backyard stream in with her now since she's aggressive and alone? she's in a bowl.

yeah. kidding. but honestly, why do people buy fish without doing a little research first? I'm getting really sick of STUPID questions that could have been avoided had they bothered to check the fish's needs BEFORE buying them. does anyone know what people just expect fish to be able to to live in anything with water they stick them in? please fill e in here, and research isn't that hard, why don't they do a google search first on the type of fish they want and check out a few pages?

added details in a sec...

My 13 inch albino oscar has had HITH for 1.5 yeas. He has a 60 gallon tank to share with an algae eater. I do partial water changes every week and have 2 dual filters running.

Has anyone really cured HITH?

**PLEASE do not send me a link. I want to hear if you personally cured it and HOW. I've use antibiotics, have been using multivitamins with his food, never use feeders.

4 fish in a 8 gallon tank. 1x bubble eye, 1 gold fish, 1 gold lion head and 1 shabumpkin.

the fins are looking worn. the large gold fish who is quite old shows veins running through its large rear tail. the black small bubble eye has clouding eyes. on his left eye it looks like a small bit of skin is hanging off its eye. the others rear tails are looking tired and worn too. Please help. I have ordered a PH test kit and have already added aquarium salt.

Should i remove all toys and live plants?

thanks for reading and taking your time to answer xxxx

Ive noticed that my discus color have change to a darker color since I broght them home from the fish store. I was told they live in average 6.5ph water condition. I tried doing that several times but ph is still too high. Now water looks cloudy. Maybe I put too much of that PH down liquid but still too high. Does this have anything to do with my white sand? Maybe this white sand making my discus uncomfortable.

I have a school of 4 blue and red neon tetras and 3 orange neon tetras. I have two neon tetras that keep swimming side by side, then they'll swim a in a little circle around each other, and finally go to a T position just for a moment. This is very odd behavior for my fish I have never seen them do this before! I noticed them doing this about 30 minutes ago I'm not really sure how longs its been going on. I have never seen any of my other tetras doing this with each other and its the same two that keep doing this weird little dance. Are they getting ready to breed or is this just the fish version of the river dance put on for my entertainment? Thanks for the help!

We, (well, my boss has, which i have to take care of) have 2 beta fish in 2 separate tanks. We have had them for about 3 1/2 years. They live through rain, hail, lightning, thunder, lol, nothing seems to phase them, but for almost 6 weeks now, our little blue one has decided not to eat, anything, AT ALL. We've tried switching foods, from pellets to flakes to shrimp to bloodworms, we've treated the water, we've washed the bowls out, we've cleaned the rocks and still treat the water. He looks and acts fine, he gets excited when someone comes near the bowl, if you drop a pellet on the water, he comes right up to it, pushes it with his mouth and swims away (every day he does this...) but doesn't eat. Can anyone help? I feel so bad... i don't know what else we can do and the petshop just says, well, if he doesn't eat, he's gonna die. ANYONE?? :) Thanks!

I have four fish in my tank. A blue gourami, two cichlids, and a black phantom tetra. The two cichlids developed an orange/rust color around their mouth last night, and now their body also has this color. I noticed some orange/rust color on the fins of my other fish also. They are all still eating well and swimming around fine. I have no idea what is wrong and can't find any disease that makes your fish turn orange. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've just cleaned my betta's 3-gal. tank. When I moved him back in, he flopped out and onto the table. Now, he's mostly staying at the bottom of the tank, with his fins on the gravel (almost upside down!) Is it normal for a betta to be so stressed after a tank cleaning?

So a few days ago I did about a 50% water change because the gravel was looking a little gross and there was foam and bubbles at the water's surface. The water is still very foamy, so I plan on doing a 20-30% water change. Should I take out the decor and stuff so I can clean where that stuff was? How mcuh Aquaplus should I add after putting that 20-30% back?

I have a male in 45 gal. tank with a sand/gravel mix bottom, large lace stone wall, sparse fake ferns, bubble wall backdrop, and water fall filter. The little guy seems to love his home but I would like to add two more fish maximum. Ideally I would was hoping for a recordation of a similar bread (long fins, colorful display), however, any suggestions would be appreciated.
