well my cichlid is getting eaten by frontusa and i want to know if i can put it in freshwater because i put my alge eater in brackish tank

yup. what kind of cichlid is getting eaten? ...and the frontosa is a cichlid too. i have an 80 gallon cichlid tank. all freshwater. i do, however, add a handful of aquarium salt about every two weeks.

Yes, Cichlids are freshwater fish. And Frontosa are also cichlids.

Yes it should be totally fine. What kind of cichlid is it? Frontosa cichlids are fresh water too.

Well, considering that Cichlids are freshwater fish, not brackish fish, I would say, "You are an idiot!"

cichlids DIE in anything BUT freshwater. So basically... it NEEDS to be in freshwater!!! And plecos wont survive very long in brackish water, just so you know.
