Many are scavengers and will happily eat any leftovers from your fish. If you don't keep fish in the same tank, you can use any sinking pelleted food, or frozen food cubes (just add what they can eat in a few minutes and store the rest in the fridge). They prefer meat-based foods of enriched brine shrimp, plankton, or marine cuisine, but can occassionally be given emerald entree (has seaweed mixed in). Several shrimp will help themselves to algae growing in the tank, but be careful of those who will pick at corals/polyps. The only ones of these I like are peppermint shrimp - thay do a great job of controlling Aiptasia anemones (nuisance species) on new live rock, but generally leave other polyps alone. most shrimp will eat just about anything. Mine love New life Spectrum Pellets and Ocean Nutrition flakes. Some shrimp will eat aptasia which is a pest that comes with live rock.

small fish like only can see with a microscope..and small plants...most likey plankton..look it up on google it can help or go to petsmart or petco...they can help.

if i were u i would c if they like 2 eat lettuce, celary, bread, or fish food. or just go a et store n ask. or the internet, uh duh! search!!!
