Edit: Alright he wasn't like this two days ago. He's less than a year old and for some reason his fins and body are turning red. He won't eat and he barely moves but he's alive. I need to find out what's wrong! I love him. He's my little Fredrick <3

Red streaks in the fins and blotches on the body are a sign of a bacterial infection. Any unexplained redness is usually due to either parasites or bacterial infections and in the case of fins, it's almost always bacterial.
I would suggest treating your fish with medicated fish food for bacterial infections and adding Furanace or Furan 2 in the water. If those two medications are not available to you, you can use Tetracycline, such as Maracyn TC. Just treat as directed on the package.

What color is he now? If he is currently grey/silver/black, then he is most likely growing up and changing into his true color. All goldfish are born a greyish color, but turn orange or red, or occasionally white, when they're around 6months-1year old. However if you think this not the case, then you may want to take a trip to your local pet shop to see if they know what may be wrong with your fish.

It could be 1 of these 3 things:
1) Your fish could naturally be red
2) The fish has some sort of reaction to the water...like a cleaning solution u put in the tank
3) He has some weird reaction to the food
he might also be sick...u might wanna think about taking him to the vet or some specialist on gold fish...but i dont think its a big thing to worry about.

If your gold fish is turning red wouldn't that make it a "Red Fish"? J.K. Try searching for Hemorrhagic Septicemia. If you think that is what your fish has then you can use E.M. Tablets from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals to treat it.

If it is burns and they are due to chemicals in the water, you will need to pick up a water conditioner to prevent any further damage. Head over to your LPS (Local Pet Store) and find a water conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramine, and removes any and all heavy metals from the water.
Kordon's NovAqua Water Conditioner & Fish Protector (http://www.petshub.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=27) is one of the products I like to use, but there are many good ones out there on the market. I use another Kordon product with that one which removes chloramines and other chemicals.

It could just be changing colors as it gets older. Depends on how old he is.
