Seriously, he freaks out when he see's anything Green...I'll be trying to highlight my school work with my green highlighter and he get's all irritated. Also, lately he's been digging at the pebbles in the bottom of his bowl and not been eating as regularly has he had in the past. What's going on? is this normal or will I soon have to flush him?

I want to purchase a new 'friend' for my comet goldfish. I'll more than likely buy another goldfish, but I was wondering if anybody has had any luck with other types of fish in the tank with their goldfish.

I don't know their genders. I have had them for a few months now, I just noticed they do this a couple of times per week. Both had back fin damage this past week, I assume as a result of this.

What do you think, are there any other fish that they won't kill if they're in the same tank?

There is a plant that you can put on top of a vase with a beta fish in. The plant lives with water and the fish eats the plant.

I know to put the breeding pair in a dark area separated from the other fish. I know that the eggs are photo sensitive. That if they don't spaun in 24 hours to give it a week break.

Is there any other advise that you would have for me?

My fish is hanging out at the top of his tank, and it was suggested that the water was too hot. What is an ideal temperature? And are there any other reasons why hes hanging out at the top of the tank?

I was wondering if I could keep dwarf gouramis and guppies together? If not, then what would be some nice tank mates for them? I'm either getting a 10 or 20 gal tank.
