It`s 14' by 7' and about 26" deep. I have goldfish and a couple catfish in it. Looking for cheaper alternative than a heater. Any suggestions welcome.

I have 5 tiny neon tetras, 2 red zebra danios (less than an inch long) and an african dwarf frog (less than in inch long)? Also, can I put my male beta in the fish tank with them?

hi i was wondering if i can give my guppys any fruts or vegtables or if i can dio anything to make them live longer.? ok 1 of them always stays like a statue whats wrong with it and i read some where that its pergnant but i have 1 male and 2 females including that on and one of the others just had fry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does my angelfish have any special needs?i'm keeping him with a small betta and 2 yellow wagtail platies. they're all getting along fine but this one seems to be the only one eating.how often do i have to change the water? how much? can u tell me whats wrong with my other fish and how to take care of them? they've been recently added to my tank.im a beginner and i need to get all the help i can. my tank is 10 gal. and unfortunatly they were all added at the same time

I have a 29 gallon freshwater tropical community tank with 2-3 inches of gravel substrate. There is a flourescent bulb and plenty of light, with great water conditions.

We did our first water change today (partial only) and things did not go well. Poor guy jumped and landed on the table, jumped again, and ended up on the floor (which is not very clean) for a few minutes! Well, I scooped him into his little temporary bowl, and he started swimming around fairly quickly. I let him rest there awhile and finally moved him back into his habitat.
He's still swimming around like always, and even ate some Betta flakes so I am hoping this means he'll be okay! How's it looking for my little guy, do you think? Also, advice on avoiding this incident happening again would be appreciated!

I have a 5 gallon tank. The lady at the pet store sold me 1 male beta, 2 zebras, 1 molly, and 1 alge sucker. She said they would be fine, but already (within 1 week) the molly died. Should I get another one, or am I over my limit?

I just bought a used 50 gallon aquarium. The inside and the rocks were pure SKANK.
I soaked the rocks in a solution of bleach, (clorox) and water, I used the same solution to scrub the inside walls of the tank using a scotchbrite sponge.
I looked up info on the tanks with google and, it seems that using soap is not a good idea. I understand that there are chlorine removers one can add to inhibit the chlorine.
My question is, did I just make an unsafe environment for my future fish? Is bleach soap? How do I remove all the SKANK left on the inside of the tank?

I had a 29G fish tank which lasted 2 years then last year in decemember it start leaking, i bought same tank again now after 7 month it is leaking. So i got it replaced. I don't want this to happen again what can i do to prevent this? I bought a tube of fish tank sealing to double seal the sealing in my tank. any sugesstions?

my 2 starfish are dying (Fromia and Astropecten polycanthus). It seems that their arms are getting smaller and smaller (atrophying).
