Can fish get bored?

It's not sick, but looks sad and only moves when I 'play' with him on the outside of the bowl.

He's a purple fighting fish named Mora.

It's been like three weeks since I first found out that she's pregnant and I've been reading about it and some websites told me about them aborting. Could it be that she's just not ready to give birth yet. I am sure that she's pregnant and she still has that dark black spot.

When i first bought it, it was so active, it never stopped moving. I had two snails, one has already died. Now Im worried that this one is dying too. It bearly moves any more and when it does it goes really slow (he used to be fast) it also looks like he is falling out of his shell. his head that used to poke out is now inside his shell and the rest of him is behind the shell. his shell isnt looking so hot and he's got this slimy stringy stuff that keeps falling off. i believe its a golden mystry snail. also my betta never showed any intrest in him, but today hes been nipping at him....is my snail dying on me?
My question...
is he going to die soon? whats wrong? and how can i save him?

i have a small fish tank for my son 2.5 gallons and every time i clean it and sterilize the water and everything, in a few day the water look merky again, a have a a filter and i'v tried that clear water drops and every thing else. what else can i do to keep it clear?

His eye just hangs there on the side of his head, and the other fish won't socialize with him now. I'ld like to get his eye back in before he gets depressed.

I broke down my aquarium after 10 years and cleaned it just using hot water. I have new rocks. I just used STRESS COAT to treat the water which is all i have ever used. i didnt clean the filter it wasnt too bad and i have it running. How many days do I wait till I put fish in the tank? Anything else I need to add to the water?

I was at sea world and saw the stingrays and already love sharks and they are distrantly related, only depressed (body shape.) How much would it cost to own one, and would I have to have asome special permission or something? What would I have to feed it and how would I feed it? Or should I just stick with plan A and own a shark like I planned in the first place?

I have an established 50-gallon aquarium. Ammonia or nitrite levels have never been present, and nitrates are generally between 1-5 ppm. In addition to the presence of nitrates and moderate light, my tap water also has high concentration of phosphorus, resulting in green water formation within a day of water changes.

Is there any real solution to this, besides the stop-gap measures of light deprivation or the drastic adoption of R/O filtration? Are micron cartridges or diatom filters any good, or simply quick fixes? Thanks so much!
