Why not!! There are some cute gold fish out there. I always loved the bubble heads. they like their water colder than a tropical fish and keep in mind gold fish get the water dirty FAST.

It"s all right to get a gold fish they are pretty animals they are more tollerent to the changes in the water than any other fish.

Heck yeah. They're cheap and they all look the same so if your friend is fish sitting for you and kills it, then they can replace it and you'd never know the difference.

Yes but be aware that they do die fast....i stop getting them a very long time ago cuz they keep on dieing an my mom make sure they were taken care of food and all....so that all up too you.

this depends on wht you want , i mean maibe i tell you tht i hate all the fish , & maibe i also suggest to buy a dog instead of fish , but you have to choose wht u want & wht u need

goldfish are dirty fish you should pick a better kind of tropical fish unless you want to clean a tank every month.....
