and my dog comes down with something, those websites don't guarantee it/? My vet said that if i purchase it from her office, then it is guaranteed if anything happens.....

what is your belief??

Whenever I play fetch with my siberian husky, she always will bring it back to me and then wants to play tug o war. She gets really aggrisive and growls at me. She also will bite my hand, arm, and jump at me. I want her to stop and just drop the ball or frissbe. Please help!

Just wondering. Like say a dog has only eaten dog food their whole lives and say someone is a hunter. What if the hunter catches, say a deer, and he cuts off a chunk of meat and gives it to the dog right there and then. What would happen to the dog if he liked the smell and ate it. I mean it is what his ancestors ate, so why couldn't a dog eat raw, fresh meat? Details...

I'd like to hear if someone has had the same happening to their dog, or a professional's opinion.

My dog is 15.5 yrs old, she's a maltese (not pure breed but mixed with god-knows-what) and always had a very unhealthy life, meaning that she was overweight because my mom always fed her with stuff she shouldn't have. Well, she was a healthy dog till about a year ago when we found out she had a little tumor on her tit (got it removed) and a heart condition. She's been on meds ever since, with a special diet for her condition and recovered from 2 surgeries; she seems to be doing fine most of the time (still eats fine, behaves as she used to but of course her sight and ear aren't that good anymore) but she faints almost everyday. The slightest emotion (seeing my mom coming back from the street, taking a short run from the room to the door to go pee) makes her faint, but after a half minute she's back on like nothing happened. I have a 5 yr old Boxer who has skin problems (hot spots, bumps, rashes, etc) I currently feed him Calf. Natural dry food and was thinking of switching to a raw food diet. I know it's more money, but will it help with his skin probs? I have been to a pet allergist already and they seem to think it's an allergy to chicken, but who knows. Could not give a def. answer for $450! Thanks

Is about to be put to sleep tomorrow... i am going with my mom, grandmom. and my dad. But the thing is , i think i may regret it.. it was my choice.. to choose if we should put her to sleep. My question is If your dog had authritis, a cancerous tumor,,, that is cancer now., obviously not enjoying getting up from naps.. colapsing during walks... even when they are short walks... ok.. would you put the dog asleep?

im a dog lover i do like cats too dont get me wrong but my finace is a cat lover he has 4 and they r out doors cats at day n he made them there own room for night and winter!! lol and im 22 and just moved in with him a year ago but befor had a place i couldnt have dogs and im trying to talk him into gettin a puppy but he wont go for it....should i just get one and hope it grows on him? even if it didnt he would deal till i found it a good home but dont wanna put a pup threw that im just so annoyed i love dogs n want a puppy so bad my dog of 10 years (shep mix) died 3 years ago he got very ill n im ready for another dog.

About 7 years ago our family labrador died and we all missed and miss her like crazy. She was a beautiful black lab. My parents say they wont get another dog until they retire but we've had an awful year (a few deaths in the family) and I think another puppy might be good for us. They've stressed they dont want one but I know if I bought one they couldnt say no due to it being too cute.

Should I get one do you think and just deal with the initial arguments?

Diarrhea has lasted 3 days.

My dog is a brown lab named Oliver - I have taken him to the Vet and he's not sure why Oli has diarrhea but he wants to prescribe a bunch of drugs. I'm a naturalist (herbal) kind of person. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

just recently our bug sprayer came to spray our backyard..he's never had a problem with our dog....up until now luckily we were home to calm her down .....do u think its because she is pregnant that shes become more aggressive with strangers?? she is a blue nose pit bull
