The rescue group said they were told he is Boxer/Lab, but he is very tiny. He is only 6 weeks old and has a medium coat.

I have a min pin and in my neighborhood it says that a few types of dogs are not allowed and the one i have is one of them. He has been living with me a year and a half and before i adopted him the office agreed and later that person was fired and there is still the new manager and they said we have to give him away. Does anyone know what to do since i don't really have money to move out and find a better place?

Fluid builds up on his facial area. He does not like it wiped and cleaned. Sometimes when he is asleep I trim the area. The watery eyes have been apparent for the past ninety days. He has never had this problem. Can someone answer my question quickly?

Or is still a bit to young. I am concerned that she may get a bit over weight as she has been done. She is very active and likes her food, will eat absolutley anything edible, but worry for when she gets a bit older she may start to fill out. She is the first b itch I have owned, all other dogs have been males, and the only one that we have had neutered.

Okay, first off, his tail was cut off by his parents owners when he was born. We've had him for 6mths now, and what will happen to his ears? It's probably too late to crop them, but will he have hearing problems? Any infections I should be aware of? Because he is actually very healthy right now, and yes, I'm very aware of the Wobbly syndrome thing. He has plenty of calcium too. Will he be okay in the future?

OK i am an american pitbull owner and I take him every where! I think its good experiance for him to get out and meet new people, also for us to bond. The other day I taken him to the laundry mat with me I usually have him outside we play frizbie or ball. To kill time while wash is washing. It was too hot so i took him inside. People were afriad of him as usual so i took him back outside. This lady comes up to me and says you are just waiting for a law suit. you dont know what he is thinking he could bite anyone. my dog is around alot of people and dogs he will not bite anyone. plus Im there. Why do people have such a attitude when it come to the pitbulls. Like its every single pitbull thats mean. It makes me so mad!

We see it here all the time ... somebody asks, "What is wrong with my dog"? Then the inquisitor describes the symptoms. That's when the fun begins.

All the "licensed veterinarians" on YA are quick to chime in with an array of specific illnesses, as well as treatments for the afflictions. The only thing I haven't seen yet on YA is a valid prescription!
It's one thing when someone replys, "My dog has (had) ____, and these are my experiences ...". But folks here are quick to diagnose parvovirus, kennel cough, hip dysplasia et al, as well as treatments for these afflictions.
If I was a licensed veterinarian (I'm not), I would do a thorough hands on exam and possibly lab tests before I ever diagnosed a pet. You can't do that online!
So here's my question: What's worse ... people asking for veterinary advice (especially when it's obvious they should be at the vet), or folks offering veterinary advice (especially when they're not qualified)?

does it ever enter the heads of you that maybe we actualy want a bit of friendly helpful advice and not just aload of insults?!?does it ever enter your head that maybe the ones asking the questions have been recomened this site for good advice or that like myself when i asked a question on monday that we cant get the help or advive we need from friends/family due to personal problems?not everybody breeding their dog is doing it for the money & not everyone has access to the information they need.im lucky enough to come from a family of breeders but due to the fact that my 5year old brother has cancer i cant get all advice i need from my family at the mo,due to the fact that they've more important things on their minds!!!its wrong of you to think that your better or have the right to insult people for asking questions, afterall isin't that more responseble than struggleling on their own?if you treat people like that they wont have the confidance to ask questions putting the dogs at risk

He's been wormed a few weeks ago and when this started I wormed again. Had a few worms. But the stool is still runny, mucous, and a little blood (sorry to be graphic but i thought detailed would be best) No money for vet. He's due for his first shot this week. Not sure if I should even give it since he's feeling so bad. Any help would surely be appreciated. Oh and there was a change in food but the blood has me nervous.

I tell him i didnt like the comment and he explainse he didnt want to bring it up, but now that school was about to start there were going to be other people interested in me...

I have had my 2 1/2 month old puppy for almost 3 weeks and she has had about 8 accidents in the house. It always turns out to be a little after I take her out. The vet reccommended crate training and I've been doing that for 2 weeks. It doesnt seem like she's getting the point htat she can't go in the house. How can I "dicipline" her?

My dog goes to parks and plays in the sand alot! She loves it. I found a small black bug on her and im guessing its a flea. I pulled it off and squished it. So I just finished giving her a long bath with Dog Shampoo, Then Pantene Pro-V , And Garnier Fructis Conditioner. After she was done I put in Ramoni Leave-In Silk Conditioner. Is there anyway I can make something or do something that wont cost money for her fleas to be gone? We have tried the flea and tick pill and advantage, but I think she has them.
