I used to have a pug who was overweight when given to me. She was my best friend when I opened the fridge. So, I cooked up baby carrots and kept them in the fridge. When I got something out, I got her out a couple carrots. She thought she had a special treat. She never showed any signs of sickness. She lived until she was 12. I miss her, Betty was her name. My vet said any fruits or vegtables were fine, except onions and also, potatoes were hard for pets to digest. Of course, I avoided those.

Chopped up carrots are great! green beans, sweet potato, banana, dried cranberries, the list goes on! If you read the ingredients in premium quality dog food you will see these in them.it adds added nutrients as well as their are no toxins or chemicals in them, and they work great as a grain-free treat! but beware of high doses of garlic, onion, macadamia nuts, chocolate and raisins/grapes.

i am not completely sure but what you can do is look it up on http://www.google.com/ It will have many pet websites come up and you can check those out. But i recommed not giving your dog human food too much because they might grow accustom and you should be feeding you dog regular dog food for it has special thing in it to help keep your dog healthy.

All dogs should not be fed these types of titbits on their own. They are dogs, dogs should be fed a dog diet. Look up the best diet for his breed or ask yr vet - surprised you havent already looked -BEFORE U BOUGHT A DOG!!!
