The rescue group said they were told he is Boxer/Lab, but he is very tiny. He is only 6 weeks old and has a medium coat.

Aww, a six-week old pup is going to be tiny, regardless of breed. His big sister is a cutie pie too! I think your best bet for determining the breed is to keep an eye on his behavior. Research both boxers and labs and see how he acts. The easiest way to tell what breed your mix could be is to think about what he looks like and what he acts like.
As for looks, he does seem to be a boxer/lab mix - did the group also rescue his mom? That would really help. :)

I think I'm seeing too many Pugs in my life, right now, lol, but this little guy has ears like my Pug and an almost Pug-like black mask marking that has been stretched with a longer nose. Most likely though, he may have Boxer and Pit Bull in him with that beautiful coat. Something bully is going on with his Big Sis, too. The mixed breeds make such great pets and for a lot of fun in trying to figure out what their heritage may be!

The big sister is or is not his litter mate? Sis definitely has some AM/Staffie in her. The puppy could be a brindle boxer Chihuahua mix.

He kind of looks like a Box/lab mix. but, he also looks like a Boxer/ German Sheperd mix. What ever he is... HE IS SOOO CUTE! His big sister is adorable too!
