You should not be letting her have free rain in the house. If she is not doing all her buisness outside them you need to put her back into the crate. She is very young and will continue to have accidents until she's around 6 mths. Puppies are a lot of work and take a lot of patience. If you hit her or rub her nose in it she will not understand and it won't help. I know that sometimes you get so mad at them because you just took them out, its very frustrating. you have to remember that they are babies and don't know any better. you are her mommy and you need to teach her. Children don't get completely potty trained until they are about 2 years old, so be patient. If you feel bad keeping her in the kennel for that long, block off your kitchen and let her play in there. You need to take her out every two hours and stay out with her for at least 10 minutes. Really really praise her when she does her buisness, and if she does it on your carpet, tell her NO! pick her up and bring her outside where you want her to go and praise her there. If she goes poop indoors, pick up the poop, bring it outside where you want her to go and show it to her and praise her. Dicipline has been found to be bad, possitive reinforcement is what works. Look up more info on crate training on the Humane Society of the United States website, they have some great info on it.

First of all my 8 week old puppy did 8 accidents in the first day I had her. She pee'd every 15 minutes. Even it was just a few dripples.
Now, I am having the same problem with training my now 11 week old Border Collie Mix. I have a crate & I've been training her for about 2 weeks in the crate. I went to the vet yesterday & they told me to make the crate smaller where she can only turn around & stand up. But, do not leave dog in there besides when your unable to watch her (Work, school, place you need to go, shower, bed, etc.). The reason you need to make it smaller is that if she pees/poops in there, she could just move to the other side of the crate.
Good-Luck!
Don't give up.

Different breeds learn more quickly than others. A chug, like I have, is an extremely stubborn dog, he took about 6 1/2 months to fully train....and crate training didn't work well. He just peed on himself and then I had to bathe him and change his bedding. Disciplining is hard. You MUST do it WHILE they are doing the bad deed. You have to teach them that it is the PLACE that is wrong, not the action. Otherwise, they will just try to hide it from you. After you catch them at it and spank them, take them immediately outside.

Part of crate training is to make sure that she is fully supervised when ever she is not in the crate so that as soon as she shows any sign of going you can pick her up and take her out side (the act of picking her up will make her stop if she has started) she can then go out side and you praise her for doing it in the right place.
Would you rather learn something because someone showed you what they wanted and praised you for doing it right or to have someone be mean when you don't know what has upset them?

You shouldn't be to hard on her, if you catch her in the act then just pick her up and put her outside. if you don't catch her in the act then consider it a game and you lose that round. you should be taking her out every hour to go to the bathroom and get her used to the command "go pee" "go bathroom" or something that you are comfortable she will soon learn when it is play time outside and when you are only outside for bathroom time. the biggest thing is don't tie her out cause you don't know if she went or not so go outside with her and take the treats with you when she goes outside make sure to give her lots of loving tell her she is a good girl and give her a treat she will soon get the hang of it. If she is going in her create then her create may to big for her trying blocking it off so that there is not as much room

Discipline yourself. If she's peeing in the house, you are not watching her carefully enough. She can't learn what is right or wrong if you don't supervise her and show her the ropes.
And when she goes outside, make sure you go out and reward her so she knows what she's out there for. Dogs aren't born knowing these things.
And it does take a while. I bet it took you more than a few weeks to potty train.

Praise her when she does go out side to go to the bathroom. Take her out more frequently. Be constant. I would also make sure you clean the spots where she did go in the house with a spray that will take out the odor. Or use vinegar and water for the spots. You can also keep her leashed with you at all times so you can montor her. If she goes to the bathroom you can stop it when it happens.

Don't dicipline her!!!!!!!!!!! It takes longer than three weeks to potty train a dog and 8 accidents is a small number compared to what most puppies do before they are potty trained. Be patient and take time to encourage her and reward her when she goes outside.

I see, well first off, you shouldn't do anything that would make her scared to let you know she has to go out, like yelling at her if she does go in the house. The best way to let them know that they did a bad thing is to use your pointer finger and tap their nose and say "Bad, don't potty in the house." And put her out side after that, and don't pay any attention to her if she wants attention. But be sure to watch her still. This should help you some.

okay i see your problem..you should be taking her outside about once every hour to make sure that she can do her "do" and get fresh air as well. Another thing is you could try using something like this:
http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441780855&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302033168&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023689&bmUID=1187211420635
Another thing you might try instead of disipline is reward and praise. ALWAYS reward and praise your dog when they listen or "go" in the correct place. Especially when you are training. You can also look for other stuff in this training aids link:
http://www.petsmart.com/global/search/search_results.jsp?In=Dog&N=2033166&Ne=2
so good luck and i hope you work things out.
Also pick me for best answer.haha =]
