We have a 10 month old Vizsla who barks, howls, whines etc when we are gone. We have started him on Clomicalm, we keep intrances/exits low key, he gets 30 minute walk/run in the morning or a playdate etc and afternoon walk. He has chew toys etc. He seems to do ok for a while, but then starts panicking. Any advice?

My dog is 3 years old and has recently had a behavior change for the worse. He won't stay in our fence, he chews through the board. My husband has replaced it twice already and we've even put a cinder block and reinforced that as well but to no avail. He has even bit my husband 3 times for no reason. He won't come to us anymore and has exhibited aggressive behavior to other dogs on our block. Please help...

I've been looking to adopt a dog, but i haven't been able to find any good adoption agencies. I would either want a Maltese or a Yorkie. I did find this puppy on craigslist but that ended up being a fraud. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a beautiful boxer, 1 year old. About a month ago she lost her fur behind ears. At first I didn't worry about it, but I have a feeling like the spots are getting bigger. She also has 3 or 4 small bumps on these spots. She doesn't eat a lot lately( I thought it's because of hot wheater), she still full of energy and acts healthy. Anybody had the same problem?

Somebody told me that there are two kinds of Beagle Dog Breeds. The one that stays small like a puppy or a bit bigger (maybe he meant a miniature dog(toy breed) and the second one that grows and becomes a little smaller than a Labrador Retriever. Is it true??? I would like to know if there is actually a miniature beagle breed.

My boyfriend got a 2yr old miniature poodle from a family member, supposedly this dog was good with kids. It didn't seem like she was taken care of very well when we got her. Her hair was matted and tangled and she was in desperate need of a haircut. I guess they kept her in a cage 90% of the time because they lived in an apt. So, she's sweet to everyone, but she just started growling at my 3yr old son. He hasn't done anything to her except running around. The other night there were fireworks going off multiple times and the dog was going nuts, the next thing I know, it bit my son's arm twice (luckily no puncture wounds) and nestled into a corner afterwards. Now all she does is growl and show her teeth at him...what can I do to get her to stop this behavior with my son? Is it hopeless should I just get rid of her?

We bought a puppy about 2 months(now she is 4 months) ago and we decided to buy another one just now, because we wanted her to have a playmate so she wont fell lonely. When we bought the new puppy home they started to wrestle and growl at each other. The new puppy is the size of my palm and the other is large compared to the other.I dont know if it is a sign of jeaousy or what? We put the older one in time out every time we find out she is trying to bite him. Should we buy like a mussle thing to go over her mouth or .......? Any suggestions to try get the puppies to stop play fighting in a harsh manner and just get along? (They are German short haired Pointers)

She doesn't really bite its just for play, but she does not know she is way bigger then him and by her biting him it hurts him

Recently my aunt has moved in with my family and my two dogs (pitbull mix and a chow chow mix) have not warmed to her. The chow chow mix will not stop barking and the pitbull mix is not allowed to go near her because every time she does she starts to bark and lung at my aunt. I know they are protecting their territory and it takes time for them to get used to new people. Is there anything that can be done to help them calm down and accept the new addition to our family?

both are older goldens (10 & 14yrs). One stays out of trouble but I saw him eat some plaster that the other one had knocked onto the floor...from the wall that he was chewing on. The one that keeps chewing on the cornor of the wall also has torn apart the baby gate used to keep him in the kitchen(this is why the wall was eaten, he was trying to escape), ate one of my socks (which he barfed up this morning), and ate trash from the bathroom (including 3 used tampons that he pooped out). They both wont eat and keep barfing(the one that ate the sock does at least still this morning). I cant get ahold of the owner to ask her what she wants me to do. They are drinking alot of water but not eating and the sock eater still acts like he doesnt feel good. The other one just wont eat but is perky as ever. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about giving the sock eater some veggie oil so help anything else he ate slide on out.
