Where are you located? Is she intact or spayed?

If you're in West Virginia, I'd take her in a heartbeat! She'd be perfect fun for my Baby Blue - also a bluenose.

Given your dog's breed, I'd try hard to find a rescue organization to take her and not advertise her on Yahoo Answers or anywhere else. There are too many people who would use her for the wrong reasons - they will pretend to be interested loving owners but treat her badly, perhaps even as a bait dog for fighting. At least a rescue group will carefully screen all potential new owners carefully. Go to www.petfinder.com and search on "shelters and rescues" and see if you can find a pit bull rescue in your area.

do not take her to a shelter if she can not go with you and you absolutely need to rehome her contact a pittbull rescue. that is the only way to ensure that she will not get put down, but keep in mind when they talk to you about your dog be as honest as you can about any bad habits she may have so they can work with her and put her in a forever home. im sorry you need to give up your dog.

Take her to the shelter. She will find a wonderful home.

Not all pits get put to sleep in a shelter. Only ones that are listed as dangerous.
