Is he doing this on purpose or is it happening in his sleep? If it happens when he's asleep, he could have a UTI. If he's awake, is he too little to get off the bed himself? Either way, if he's housebroken check with your vet to make sure there is no underlying medical problem.

He may be sick with a urinary tract infection, or perhaps you have been allowing him to drink water later in the evening than usual. I always take my dog out for his final walk around 10 PM, and then let him have one last drink if he wants, then that's it! Otherwise he'd be peeing all night. BUt if that's not the case, get him checked by the vet. Sometimes when dogs are sick, they'll pee because they can't help it.

If this problem just started, he most likely has a bladder infection. I'd take him to the vet. If the vet says there isn't an infection, I would make sure he goes out before bed and limit his water drinking before bedtime.

I might take Sparky to the vet for a examine up simply to be secure. I have this senior Husky that I rescued final yr that every now and then she is going to truthfully poop as she is running & no longer even understand what she has performed. She handiest does this as soon as in a first-class at the same time. I simply characteristic it to her age seeing that she is 14 years historical. When my husband first obvious her do it he began yelling at her. I advised him that I consider of it as being like an older character who has misplaced manage in their bowels & bladder. I have looked after aged humans and lamentably that does occur to many older humans..
