I received an email about an 8 month old female dog, named Pumpkin, who needs a place to stay for a few weeks, but unfortunately I'm living in Louisiana now and Pumpkin needs help ASAP. She is in Vail, CO. She has kennel cough, so she needs a temporary (or permanent) home away from other dogs until she has recovered. If you think you can help her out please email me. She is a red coonhound mix and from what I hear is a sweety but she does have some separation anxiety issues.

Thank you so much!

ok my ? is that why cant a dog live outside? What is the problem with him living outside and he likesto live outside. We will put him inside as soon as he is trained. We can still train a dog outside like sit/up/ things like that. And when he is trained outside we will bring hime inside. All i need to know is why can a dog live outside?????

ok so my neighbors are saying that my dog has been barking alot I UNDERSTAND THAT, but he is in his tranining session. He lives outside in a comfy place. He is a very spoiled dog, and gets whatever he wants. Soon he is going to live inside as soon as we get him trained. We are spending alots of time with him. We are also working really hard to get him trained so he can live inside. The neighbors dont really understad the situation, all they do is stalk our backyard, and then they come complain about us that we should be keeping our dog inside and we are keeping him trained by taking him to training, we always spend about 2 and half hours with him and give him alots of chew toys stuffed with peanut butter. We take him on walks twice a day. He is not willing on being patient for us to fully train our dog. And this is none of his buisness of keeping our dog inside. I UNDERSTAND THAT WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF HIS BARKING WHICH WE ALREADY DID

My 7 month old cocker spaniel is way over the top when someone calls at the house. He gets way too excited when greeting people. He literally hurls himself at them, jumping up and crying. He went to puppy classes and was loopy compaired to the others. He's just been neutured, but can't see it making much difference. I ask people who come to ignore him, but it's hard when he's leaping like a loony. He has a gorgeous temperament, but just need him to calm down. Apart from this he's relatively calm.

I have 2 of the most beautiful Pomeranians ever - they both have very loving, sweet dispositions about them. So recently my husband and I decided to adopt a third one. We wanted to give an unwanted pet a good, loving home. So we adpoted a another Pomeranian, Valentino. He is so sweet, loving and gets along with the other 2 just great. We couldn't ask for a better dog other than a few bathroom issues he has fit in fine but there is a problem, one I don't know how to break - I love birds, all kinds so my husband has put bird feeders along with bird houses in our back yard - our new addition is a bird killer. He has killed 5 of my baby birds in the last month and I don't know how to break him of it - we have never had this problem with our other 2 so it really has us stumped - we have a really nice fenced in back yard w/a pet door so the dogs may come and go as they please - getting rid of him is not an option - any suggestions would be appreciated?

I mean when you see a beautiful girl you call her "kitten".
But when you want to insult someone you call him "dog".
I mean both animals are cute, why the discrimination?

Hello everyone.

I read that when a pomeranian gets old, often times it's hair tends to "fall out" and it ends up getting bald patches on it's body. Is this true? I'm just wondering because my grandma has one, and she's worried about it.

Thank you.

Two of my Rhodesian's have big knots on their backsides. These 2 are both girls and are a little over 5 months old. This just scared me when they both developed them. Has anyone else had this problem?

A month ago I took in 2 puppies dumped out here in the country. Got both pups back to health and both were very frolicky and energetic. The smallest pup became sick and wasted away to nothing within 3 days of 1st. symptom and unfortunately died. Vets diagnosis was Parvo. 2nd pup has just started same symptoms today. I am on disability and cannot afford any more vet bills not even putting him to sleep. So I am thinking of having him shot to assist in his death. I dont want him to suffer the way the 1st did its terrible!!! Is this wrong? Is there a better solution?

We had already took him to the vet. And he got some medicine. And he is now done with it. But he is still throwing up blood. Infact it seems to be more often now. And he is throwing up pure blood. We are changing his diet. Do you guys have any other ideas on what to do. Or even what food we should change him to. Oh and the vet had done a full check out with everything. But we didn't get an answer. She just thought that it was something that he has eaten off the floor(So now he gets no human food) or something stuck in him.(Which there wasn't) So now we are out of ideas on what to do. Please help.
