Oh for heaven's sake, she's just a baby.

Keep training. If you do it often enough the response will be come automatic.

And why wouldn't you give her a treat most of the time? You like to get paid for work you do, don't you?

Once her sits are reliable, intermittent rewards have been found to be more motivating than constant rewards.

show the dog the treat. Ask her to sit.

Just because you showed it to her does NOT mean she has to get it. If the dog gets a treat now and then for doing things the treats are reinforcers. If the dog MUST have a treat to perform it's a bribe.

YOU are in control. You give treats when you want to. and guess what? INTERMITTENT rewards are the most effective. That means DON'T give a treat every time.

always end a training session with a reward though...

Well she's only 9 weeks old. Don't trick her than she will learn not to trust you. Give her a small treat for a good sit.

always reward with a treat. You can break them really small and that's okay with the dog, it just matters how often she's rewarded, esp when she obeys. You can reward with a piece of dog food, so she doesn't get fat.

She needs to know that every time she obeys, she'll be rewarded.

I don't recommend treat-work cause that same problem happens, the dog/puppy doesn't respet you, it respects treats. DO NOT REPEAT YOURSELF!!! it teaches them to IGNORE you!!! i own 2 GSDs and when i give them a command, and they don't do it i say, stuff like "what did i tell you to do" or "where are you sposed to be" stuff like that.

well keep giving her treats but give her only small amounts of it because then shes Will listen to you but she wont be getting the full amount and it is unhealthy for a puppy or a dog to keep getting treats =}

ps thanks for answering my question

If you tell her in a deep enough tone of voice..she'll now your seriouse and she'll get the hint...plus she'll get more obedient when she gets older...give her time..she'll catch on..my dog did.
