Yesterday it was hot out and he came in from under the deck limping. He limped all day and night. Of course my wife and I felt really bad for him and gave him tons of attention. This morning I woke up to take him to the vet and he is no longer limping!

Should we still take him in even though he is not showing the same symptoms? I check for cuts and thorns but didn't see anything. I am starting to wonder if he could be smart enough to fake it! He is a 95 lb Lab.

Everyone kept saying that these methods aren't effective, but I have eliminated her problem in one week!!! Together, flea and tick shampoo and a puppy flea and tick collar and no more fleas or ticks after only a week.

I have just gotten a new 6 week old border collie and I have never had one before and several people have told me that they need lots of attention or else they can become destructive. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Or possible any words of wisdom for me? Thanks

I have a dog that won't go outside when it's raining and won't leave the sidewalk if the ground is wet/muddy. If it's raining all day, he'll go to the bathroom in the house (he holds it as long as he can, but if he can't hold it anymore he'll go in the house before going out in the rain). If it's muddy (but not raining), he'll go to the bathroom on the sidewalk. Sometimes he'll go to the bathroom in the yard when it's a little muddy if you drag him over there and don't let him leave until he does, but sometimes he'll just stand there and stare at you with a pathetic look on his face, ears back and tail down until you let him go back in the house.

What should I do about this?

I've waited too long to have him vaccinated, he is 4 month old already, he's breed is mixed maltese and shetsu. He is very playfull and full of life before, now its the opposite. Everybody in our house is worried that he's not gonna make it.

He is utd on shots and neutered..So I thought he'd be ok around my dogs, not even thinking about worms...This morning I noticed when cleaning up his poop he has tapeworm, (atleast I think) Its long skinny noodle looking things moving...Anyway Im getting him into vet today..But I am sooo worried my other 2 dogs will get it...My dogs are on Heartguard, which I know has preventative in it, but is that enough? How likely is it that my girls will get it also? Thanks

She's been pregnant for the last two weeks. She's 11 years old and it'll be her fourth litter. She doesn't act like she used to, she moves really slowly. She lays around all day and she's eating very little. Her eyes are bloodshot and there's stuff coming out of them sometimes. I don't know what breed she is but it's common I know that.

I don't know what to do and I don't want her to die or anything so, what should I do?

Buddy (The dog) is a kelpie and a little cutie, always placid and nice, but he wondered off one day about a week ago, and my brother couldnt find him, Buddy came home 2 days later limping on a leg that had a huge gouge out of it and blind in one eye. the man down the road had found Buddy sniffing around so he got a shovel and started hitting him untill he passed out. whats your opinion??.

My dog, Brittany, an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, has a large lump under one of her nipples. When I apply pressure, a yellowish, cloudy liquid comes out. This is only on one nipple. She is not pregnant; she is a strictly indoors dog except when we're letting her outside to do her business.
