I live in the country where there are plenty of ticks and fleas.
I have always used FrontLine Plus and I've never seen a flea on any of my dogs.
I have seen a few ticks on my foxhound who makes frequent trips through the woods. But rest assured once they bite her they are dead.

Frontline or Frontline Plus is usually the top choice around here. Keep an eye out for the new Advantage Multi; it may or may not have comparable effectiveness, hard to say at this point because it's a new product.

I use frontline. You put it on your dog around the neck area in a straight line down her back so you will let it spread. You put it on your dog every month. And dont pet her will it is on, give it atleast an hour to dry. You also get it at a vet or if you are lucky you may get it at a pet store.(But I would get it at the vet's office.)

I used frontline for 2 years, and decided this year to use K9 advantage. I think they both do a good job.

I prefer Frontline. I've used it for both my dogs & neither has ever had a flea!

Front line works, there is a solution I cannot remember the name you mix with water that works as well,. I used this to wash around the yard/
