ok so my mom just called me and she said that the lady she works 4 just got a new chihuahua puppy!! the thing is the lady isnt very good at keeping pets for example she had a bird,cat,golden retriever, and a hampster that she got at one point and wasnt able to keep any of them cauz she stinks with animals and I have adopted them all so she wouldn't send them 2 the pound. So anyway the new puppy we are guessing will only last at her house a couple of months be4 she cant handle it anymore and she will most likly give it 2 us. AND I LOVE CHIHUAHUAS AND HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE!!!!!! ok so this is kinda weird 2 ask but would anyone who read this if you r religous pray that i get it. Or even if yr not pray that i get it!!! :) thnxs!!

why does my staffy bark when we are at the park she go's mental when we let her of the lead barking at us we try completly ignoreing her, we try telling her of we have tried everything, i hate taking her out now and i have a baby on the way and it is really stressing me out i can't take her for a walk with the baby coz of the barking it will drive me mad!!!please help!! by the way when i say we have tried everything we havn't confused her and tried it all at once but please help!!

I just got a young female dog yesterday that previously had a litter of puppies. I had gotten her from a friend of a friend who was not taking care of her at all. I made an appointment with my vetrinarian, but he is so backed up that my appointment is in three days. I really need the answer to my question now, though. I noticed in her stool that she has worms. I was wondering if tthis is contagious to humans? If so, how would I get them from her, and how would I prevent my family from getting them, too?

I have had my dog for about 16 years. She is potty trained and up till now I have not had any problems with her, but all of a sudden she starting to pee in the garage, but she also goes out side to pee and poop. She has a doggie door to out when ever she needs to. I am afraid that she will move to going inside the house and i don't want that to happen. Is it maybe because she is old or is it lazyness? Someone help!!

Someone told me that dog food is actually bad. I was advised that feeding my dog brown rice, vegetables, and meat would be cheaper and better than dog food. Is this true?

I have a pit/boxer mix, all around he is a good dog, but he is very hyper. I have tried to ignore him, punish him, lock him in the cage, but nothing seems to be working. When people come around him he jumps on them and tries to play. I play all the time with him, but he wants 24/7 attention. How can I get him to stop.

I just got 2 new black saddle German Sheppard puppies....
but I need names. One is and boy and one is a girl. they are both playful and SO CUTE!!!! but I've had them for 2 days now and still no names. They are brother and sister so matching names might be cute...but all suggestions are welcome....oh yeah, I kinda like real names (my other dogs names; Brittany, Bob, Katie.....you get the point [no, I don't have these anymore, just FYI])

My minpin puppy has serious separation anxiety, I don't know what to do!! The second we leave, she's scratching on the door, whining & barking & howling so that the whole block hears. My landlord (I Live in a 2 family house) complains to us everyday. last night, we left for 2 hours to go out for dinner, & when we come home, our landlord iswaiting for us by our door to tell us that the dog has been barking all night & they can't take it anymore. We leave her heating pads under her pillow, she has access to the whole house except for the 3 bedrooms because she's pee pad trained, we leave her her favorite treats around the house, as well as 3 of her favorite kind of rawhide bones. We leave her dry food mixed in with canned food as well as some apple slices, & fresh water. We also leave her a shirt I sleep in at night so she has my scent. The radio & TV is also on.We don't know what to do! We've had her for a month already & she's been like this since day 1. Please help! Anything will help

hi, me and my family will be shifting to sarjah shortly, we r taking our 2 labradors with us. I want to know weather or not we can take our dogs out for a leak just as we do in India, (i.e dogs can pee and **** on the roads/pavement/parks) else, what is the other option for them to atttend their natures call, my dogs here go out for at least 4 -5 times a day. pls help asap!!
