Hi, you could try having a look in the official Kennel Club puppy register (contact information will be free):
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/384
And also the Champdogs site (this gives you links to breeders & any contact information is free plus there are two litters advertised):
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_chow-chow.html
And, as you've already been recommended, ePupz is a great site. However, you have to register to get the contact information - it's free & you can access all the details for adverts older than five days - however you have to pay a one-off £4.99 fee to access the contact details for new adverts:
http://www.epupz.co.uk/search/puppies_for_sale.asp?breed=Chow+Chow&area=all&st=1&Submit=Search+++
Good luck

Contact one of the many Chow breed clubs listed at the bottom of this page. Make sure you only buy from a reputable breeder. Like most breeds, Chows have health issues which can best be avoided by buying from a knowledgeable, experienced Chow breeder

I had two Chow Chows until they died a couple of years ago. They are wonderful dogs but do tend to grow attached to one person. One of ours was definately my wifes dog and would only tolerate me. The other ignored everyone except me. I contacted the Kennel Club for a list of breeders and just started phoning around. The second one was acquired through the first breeder fronm the other side of he country.

Contact a Chow Chow Breed group and check the available rescues. Chows are remarkable dogs- one of my favorite breeds, but you need to know something about them. They have high maintenance coats, they have a bad reputation for aggression, too. (I disagree on that overall, but improper training can make them aggressive.)
Don't encourage breeding- see what animals are available in rescue first.

Please be sure you know what you're in for with a new puppy. Especially a Chow as they can be mean! Never buy a pup from a pet store! They are usually associated with puppy mills. Look online for a local breeder near you!

hiya if you're in the uk try www.epupz.co.uk actually it might work in other countries too. you can browse by location, breed etc and view contact details for the owner. you have to register to find the details, but this is free. orr type in "chow chow puppy for sale" and then your area into google. that brought loads up for me. there is also a wanted section so you can post an advert asking breeders to contact you if one becomes available. aaaaand there are sections with advice etc. its a brilliant website. and a brilliant choice of dog by the way, theyre gorgeous!!

nope. make sure you know about the breed first, they can be very hard to train as they are mostly very strong willed.
