I hate animal cruelty so I'll help you. Their was two men who put a dog in the microwave... it's really sad and a horrible thing to do. Also one shelter near where i liveed just got closed down (i think it was more a home but i'm not sure) their were dozens of dogs, cats and horses their who hadn't been fed and where hurt, and the home they were at was very dirty and not up to regular living standards. Also one breeding place had two dogs chained up so they'd breed and the others were just all around in the dirty place. These examples are all very sad and even hurt to write them but if it's a speech to help stop animal cruelty (which i really hope it is) then i'll help. Hope it helped you for your speech.

This kind of stuff breaks my heart. Two boys last July in Gwinett county (suburb of Atlanta) bound a gagged a puppy. They then baked the puppy in a gas oven. They were sentenced on Feburary 9th thank God! You can find lots of information on this case at www.ajc.com, that is Atlanta's newspaper. There was also a cop in Atlanta that was charged last week for neglecting his two Pitt Bulls. Good job on doing research on this and bringing animal cruelty to peoples eyes!

this was not too long ago in Manchester i think
a women who's dog had just had a litter of 5 pups about a week before it happened!
has two teenage sons and she left for the evening to go out for a party, and the two boys had a secret party of their own
and when the women got back, the police were outside and the local rspca inspectors, as while the party was going on some people who were at the party put all 5 little pups in the oven and turned it on full blast, while the pups were alive and they all baked to death they had taken the mother and locked her in the shed, and this is very distressing and true, and i hope u bring to light the true colours of people like this, cause it makes me sick.

A couple of months ago an elderly dog in our area-i vaguely know of it-was kicked almost to death by a gang of teenage chav's who then tied a firework to it's tail and set it off.
The dog survived amazingly but had to be treated for a lot of broken bones and burns.
The chav's were caught and got done for animal cruelty.Don't know what sentence they were given but whatever it was it wasn't enough.

Animal planet allways has the "Heros" shows comming on. Try to catch one on TV because the PETA site will almost indeffinantly embelish the truth to make it look worse. Animal Planet Heros may do the same thing, but if you pay attention youcan figure out where they're exagerating.
