I have had my dog for about 16 years. She is potty trained and up till now I have not had any problems with her, but all of a sudden she starting to pee in the garage, but she also goes out side to pee and poop. She has a doggie door to out when ever she needs to. I am afraid that she will move to going inside the house and i don't want that to happen. Is it maybe because she is old or is it lazyness? Someone help!!

16 years is very old for a dog, so it could be that she's having trouble with her bladder and she can't hold it in long enough to make it outside. Or maybe she has developed arthritis and it's difficult for her to walk so far, so she opts for the garage. Have you noticed any trouble walking?
It could be that she's lazy, and doesn't want to go out into the cold some days- but for the most part, dogs generally don't like to potty in areas they stay around.
I'd call the vet's office and see if they can give you any advice over the phone, or even make an appointment to make sure everything's okay.
In the meanwhile, they make pads you can leave on the floor for them to potty on- making it an easier clean up for you, and a designated spot for her. This could prevent her from going in the house also, since she will recognize the pad as an okay spot to potty.

Could very well be old and lazy, but she may have made a weird connection that the garage is outside. Is it cold in your garage? Has there been another dog in your garage that may have peed in there? Hope this helps!!!
