hi, me and my family will be shifting to sarjah shortly, we r taking our 2 labradors with us. I want to know weather or not we can take our dogs out for a leak just as we do in India, (i.e dogs can pee and **** on the roads/pavement/parks) else, what is the other option for them to atttend their natures call, my dogs here go out for at least 4 -5 times a day. pls help asap!!

Depends where you are staying , if you are staying in a villa or such , you can do what you just mentioned just outside the villa and probably just cover up with some sand etc. YOU CANNOT DO ANY OF THOSE ACTIVITIES IN PUBLIC PLACES (ROADS PARKS PAVEMENTS )THE FINE FOR LITTERING IS AED.500/- (READ AS Rs.6,000)If you are going to be living in a flat its impossible bcos you can be fined by the municipality, so the only other option is to toilet train the Labs or Use a Litter Box filled with sand and make sure that you maintain it properly. By the way this country is full of cats you hardly see dogs around , also make sure that your dogs are not a nuisance (like barking when alone or not socialized properly) cos there is a very active SPCA here and they will just report you to the municipality and take your dogs away.So be careful mate.
