My dog has her milk & she discharged her mucus plug about 24 hours ago. She is a black lab, and we are not sure when she became pregnant...we have a pretty good estimate which is around November 21st, but we aren't positive. Oh, and she is acting like she is in pre-labor. She is panting also.I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP!! ~Thanks~

So I have been talking to different people to get opinions on training dogs/puppies.
I have heard so many different things.
We have a friend who trained their german shepherd by using a rolled up newspaper, which they call the old fashioned way.

And other's I have talked to at work (customer's), who actually spank the dog, just like they would a child.
Then, there are other's who just use words, and teach them from scratch what these words mean.

I just wanted to get a poll on how everyone trains their dogs/pups now...
I believe things have changed since 10-20 years ago, lol.
Why does whichever method you use work for you and/or dog? And which ways do you use?

So, I had a transport and he had to stay over night with a friend. He yelled all night. Now he hollers every time I am away from him, even if it is just to take the other dogs for a walk. I have tried praising him for not screaming and ignoring him. This is not the whine or the broo. This is the full monty screaming! HELP!!!

Now, don't just say "mean ones' or something just as stupid! Give me examples backed up by FACTS! Data should come from a reputable source.

So, I want to hear, what makes a dangerous dog? Why do you think _____________ is dangerous?

Hannah had a cortizone shot last week and blood work (her hindquarters freeze up once in a while but the vet gave her a clean bill of health. Took x-rays, etc. Anyways, now her cough sounds hoarse and she is coughing up clear phlegm (spelling?) She didn't stay at the vet's - it was just a visit. Can dogs get colds?

Thanks - Jodi

A puppy has died and the mommy is still trying to care for it. She is licking it and the skin is coming off (disturbing). But when i take the dead pup away from her, she gets up leaving the litter and seems stressed. She won't seem to care for the others except the dead pup. This has been going on for hours now. What should i do?

I don't like dog hair all over the place. I want to come home from work and relax without giving my dog what's left of my energy. I don't want a hyper dog. Basically I'm looking for a low maintanence dog that is there for me when I want to play with him.

Hey, I don't know that much about dog walking services but i'm thinking of starting one so I don't have to be away from my dog for 9 hours out of the day. So do you guys have any ideas? Would you pay $10 to have your dog walked 1 mile? I've got a lot of it figured out, but I need some ideas...I'm kind of wanting to make this a full time job so I can be with my puppy and go to school. If you have any questions you want to ask, please contact me on Yahoo messenger, or if you ask it on here, then keep an eye open because I will respond to it quickly.

I have to get these papers sent tonight, however I am having trouble thinking of a unique name. Her name is Sassy, but I am stuck on what to put on the papers. Her mom's papers name is "Nothing Is Kim-Possible", they call her Kimmie. Her dad's papers name is "Sir Charie". Sassy is black and white. She is a Boston Terrier.
You can see some pics of her here:

the one at the bottom of her with her bone is the most recent.
