Well i didn't take my dog to the vet yet, because i wasn't sure how much it would cost. The cavity isn't that bad, the tooth has bits of black stuff at the bottom of the tooth, and the top of the tooth is brownish. I only checked my dog's teeth because a friend of mine told me that dog's can get cavities

You should contact your vet and speak to the over the phone or go to your vet and talk to them. Ask for an estimate on the dental work for this service. Since prices range based on your location and the type of dental service provided, as well as how much dental service you will need.

What did the vet say about it? It really rare for dogs to get cavities so unless the vet said it was a cavity its probably not. Most vets will just pull the tooth and that is not really expensive but they will have to put your dog out for a while to pull it.

maximum vets do no longer make funds on Spaying and Neutering. the value is frequently to cover the climate that have been needed for the surgical treatment, the aftercare/take-residing house components, and not the rest. Small canine often value greater. In my area; 80$ for spaying, 60$ for neutering. ETA: i do no longer see the place i'm incorrect? each and every vet i've got contacted has pronounced that they charge the smallest quantity obtainable, on the grounds that they *decide for* human beings to S/N. i've got talked to multiple shelters, and as quickly as we've spoken of vets, they have very just about all pronounced that the lists of vets they have do no longer make any income off of S/N.

you will just have to take the dog to a vet and ask for how much it will cost to fix the tooth before you have any thing done to the dog.

HI
That depends sometimes they pull the tooth if it is too bad, should take care of it now it will only get more expensive if it abscesses.

it will most likely need pulled if the decay is bad,it's not good to leave a rotting tooth in,it will cause dental and gum disease, which can lead to death
