The Vet recommends surgery to put a pin in her leg. Unfortunately she has bad athritis, back and hips to start with. Prior to the accident she's been slowing down but has alot of determination and seems happy. Will this surgery be too much? Not sure how hard it will be for her to recover. What should we do?

I live in a house with a small yard. There is a wooded area near my house where iI would like to train a dog to go out and then come back. I work 9 or 10 hours a day, and am looking for a companion to take on walks and be friendly inside. I have an 11 year old son. His friends and mine are over a lot. So I don't want a barker or mean dog--one that pretty much accepts everyone. I prefer shorter hair or dogs that don't shed. I also prefer medium to large dogs. Any suggestions?

Mum lost 1 of her 2 dogs, the other has since gone mad! She's about 9yrs old, a German Pointer. Whenever she's left alone she runs about the house poohing and peeing everywhere, she jumps in a bay window howling to get out, she's torn muscles in her shoulder, which has cost mum loads of money getting right. She's a hazard to herself, but mum has to still go to work, she can't put her life on hold for a dog.
She can't really afford to get another dog, she's called a behavioral therapist who quoted £75 just to come round, which she simply just can't afford,,, any ideas???

I am hoping to start a new service in my area.
I want to let peoples dogs who are left home alone out for a pee and a poo.
I have an enhanced police check and references.
I just cannot come up with the right words to describe the service I want to offer without it sounding strange.
I have done my research and there is no one else in the area who offers this service.
I would also feedcats if the owners were away.
I already have several people who want to take advantage of it.
I need to get the Ad in by Wednesday so it is in the local paper next weekend.
I would clear up after the dog, feed it and refresh its water if required..
Any suggestions for wording of the Ad and Name of my new business would be really gratefully received also what insurance would I need to take out?
Thanks you for your help.

I have a 5 month old Red-Nose Pit Bull puppy. I got him when he was 3 months old. The problem is that he sneezes out a lot of "snot", all the time. The only precipitating factor is just breathing. He appear to be developing normally. He eats, plays, and eliminates normally. If it is just allergies, is there anything I could be giving him to make this matter easier?
