My chi will go outside to pee. He still has a pad in the house in case he has to go when I'm not home but he REFUSES to go poop where he goes outside to pee. He will either poop in the house (not on the pad) or I will have to walk him to get him to poop. If he poops in the same place more than three times he will not go anywhere near that area again. I really need to get him to poop when he goes out to pee.

My 2 year old Spaniel/Lab mix won't stop chewing on things...the TV, my bed posts, old alarm clock, brothers toys, shoes, slippers, socks, tables, chairs, her toys, her bed, blankets, the garbage can, the cupboard that holds the garbage can, my arm, car keys, old computer mouse, drawers, eye glass case, sliding glass door, wood outside, the fence outside, the cement outside, rocks, the refrigerator, the list goes on and on and on. I don't know what to do. She's driving me nuts! What’s wrong with her? I mean I take her on walks every day, treat her well, give her treats, and over all I'm a good owner. I don't know why she does what she does. Help me please!?!?

We live in the boonies. No house for a mile. My dog was recently attacked either by other dogs or coyotes. I have now put a collar on him and a leash. The problem is he won't go outside at all now. Everytime he goes to the door, I get the leash out and he runs and hides under the bed. I know he eventually will have to go outside to use the bathroom. My question is how do I get him to like his leash? I don't want to traumatize him because he has been through enough with the attacks I'm sure. The cuts are starting to heal so I don't want to let him loose to be attacked again. I can't afford to have him nutuered until Februray. Any suggestions?

My three dogs have been sick for a week now. They have a slight cold and a "very" dry cough. I was told that I can give them baby strength cold remedy for "humans." I made the mistake of bathing them last friday afternoon and I guess it was too cold. I made sure to blow dry them thoroughly but they still got sick. My 3 month old was scheduled to receive her vaccinations and de-worming shots this saturday. Will the vet still administer the shots if she is ill???

My pooch is 18 years old, very healthy never had any medical problems, has the lives of a cat.. This pooch, had been hit by a car and tossed 6 feet.. Been kicked in the head by a horse seveal times, he was shot by the neighbor kid, who I dont know why, put a qtip in a beebee gun and shot him.. Qtip still in him, and cannot be removed because its consitered srapnal, and unsafe to remove, but does not cause him pain. Has days he is confused, and others where he is perfect.. but he was diagnosted with Congitive Dysfunction Syndrome... Like Alzheimers for humans.. There is a treatment, with Anipryl. I keep being told, let him get put to sleep. He is too old now... They say dog years he is a 126 years old. Does not have arthritis, only stiff when he wakes up after sleeping. He is a cocapoo/terrer mix... I don't think he is ready to die, has not gave me that look.... What do you think? What would you do?

My dog Shyla a pitt/boxer mix that I rescued from the shelter over a year ago has issues about being left alone. Lately she's been scratching her way out the front door. My husband isn't sure what to do and I am not willing to give her up. She's a good dog just a tiny bit over excited.
But what do I do?

my dog's mom is trying to "hump" my dog. i know you may all think this is a joke but i am 1000% serious. the mom is a little bigger than the baby so i think it may be hurting the little dog. also, neither dog is neutered and the kid is a boy. can the mom get the baby preggers? please help!

I've had my mini daschund for about a week now. She's amazing! But I've noticed, she's VERY needy. She wines whenever she's not touching skin to skin. It's super cute! I've noticed to she's very attached to me over everyone else. She always loves on everyone that shows her attention but as soon as I walk in the room she stops what she's doing and races over to me. Is this a nomal characteristic of mini daschunds? And what other characteristics can I look forward to. What are their pros and cons??
