Change his/her diet to something with less protein. If you're feeding puppy food, that's the problem. If your dog is still a puppy or needs to be on puppy food for another reason, get a good air freshener and good luck.

Ha ha ha! I feel you! My dog is stinky too. Try changing to a new food. Make the change gradual, mixing the old food and new food, gradually changing the ratio until you have all new food. That should take about a week or two. Try to find a food that will help.. Purina One might be a good place to start.

Some dogs just fart a lot. My dog has fart binges. He will be fine for a while and then all hell breaks loose. I really don't know what causes a dog to fart. I feed my dog the same good dog food all the time so it can't be that. Good Luck with that!

Change the dogs food. Diet is everthing. Dogs have senitivetivestomach. You may need to get something like science diet. Just read on it and make sure that it fits your dogs needs.

Switch to a HOLISTIC food. Much more healthy for the dog, and should cut WAY WAY down on the farting.

Check to see if your dog's food contains corn, wheat, soy or beet pulp. If so, I highly recommend chaning foods to something that does not contain those things.
High quality food can make all the difference!

Could be his food. If it has a lot of grain, it may be hard to digest and cause gas. Try switching (do it gradually) and see if it helps.
