Well room seperation is one method, but some male dogs will actually claw at the door. Another option is to place her or them in a kennel facility during her heat.

Gracy K has alot of good suggestions,, and here are a few more to add to it, and that is to if you have a friend that you can have your female go to and spend the rest of her heat with that would so much easier on you and the male dogs cause they are going to drive you nuts but the seperate rooms can work also if you dont have family or friend that can take her,, and also you can keep her in the bathroom and take turns every hour of letting her out for an hour and putting the males up for an hour so she can get some exercize and some attention and then vise versa,,, that is what I have to do with my dogs when they are in heat and not breeding them in that heat,,, I hope this has helped and good luck with the next 20 days cause it can be so very stressfull on you and the dogs,,

it depends how yr house structure like, either temporary housing them different rooms, or making use of the kitchen, just use a fence or baby gate to block it, the male will still attempt but after some tries he will give up, though he will keep tryingg, but at least u r 100% sure your female wont have any "accidence"

why aren't your dogs fixed? unless they are competition dogs they should be spayed or neutered. do you really want to go through this hassle ever six months. oh, just wait until your males get into a serious fight because of raging hormones! that's loads of fun (i hope you know how to break it up)! let us know when you screw up and your female gets pregnant (it's just a matter of time).
