What is a good breed of dog that is loyal, does what you want it too, and is protective. Like he or she sees someone messing with you and does not like it. Also, my husband wants to be able to tell the dog when if he leaves the house but I'm not, to stay and protect me.

My cat and dog worked together to get a box of cookies while I was at work, those two and the smaller dog ate every bit. Have your pets ever done anything or this sort?

I was out in the backyard one night and my pet passed away a short time ago and we buried her in the backyard. I was sitting in the chair and i was crying because and i was depressed and there she was standing there on her grave. She look at me and barked 3 times. After that she dissappeared. I saw right through her. I was happy to see her from the great beyond. I think she is stuck in limbo. ( between worlds)

Besides picking up the poop and mopping, how do I get rid of the stinch? Bleach is not working. Candles and airfresheners only slightly hide the smell. I am not willing to house train them since I am not keeping them.

He is outside all day but now wants outside at nite also but barks all nite. He won't come in to go back to his crate. This is strange behavior for him. He seems fine otherwise, just driving us crazy at nite. Any suggestions?

What do I do? HE is acting tired and lathargic. His ears are not perky his tail while wagging, is not his usual happy wag! When the doorbell rang, he did give a good long bark and jumped about but now he is just sad looking. Should I be worried?

My husband and I will be getting a puppy in about 2 weeks. We plan to keep it in a box for a bit until it gets a little older. Can we use cat litter as a way to help with messes and clean up?
Thank you.

I'm about to become a professional dog trainer in schutzhund. And I want a Belgian Malinois, but I'm concerned with furture trouble of finding a place to live. Are they on the hit list or are they still too rare?

What breeds that are suitible for schutzhund aren't on that damn list?

I breed shepherds and have had an inquiry about sending one of my female pups to a "breeder" in Japan. I dont know much of how dogs are treated over there. I have heard they buy dogs for puppy mills and send then over to China.

OK, I have a new Lhasa Apso puppy and the beast pisses everywhere...please don't tell me I need to train my dog....in the process...I take him out every 15 minutes, but it's been raining lately and he doesn't like to pee in the cold wet rain...so i bring him back inside, and turn my head for literally 5 seconds and when i look back he's peeing on the floor...now my carpet smells like piss really bad....when i catch him doing it i repremand him and take him outside to show him the correct place to pee, but i'm affraid there's spots of pee i've missed and dont' know of....my apartment now smells incredably like pee and i've tryed Ferbreezing the heck out of it and using that prevacuum powder stuff...nothing works!! So please give me some ideas on what i can do because this smell is really starting to get to me and make me constantly nausious in my own house!....thanks
