I was out in the backyard one night and my pet passed away a short time ago and we buried her in the backyard. I was sitting in the chair and i was crying because and i was depressed and there she was standing there on her grave. She look at me and barked 3 times. After that she dissappeared. I saw right through her. I was happy to see her from the great beyond. I think she is stuck in limbo. ( between worlds)

I totally believe you. My first dog used to lay in the bathroom near the shower door when I was taking a shower. She was so funny. If I opened a new bar of soap, she would take the soap wrapper out of of the trash and place it nicely on the floor. She never bothered with anything else in the trash. Oh, but I digress.

Anyway, for the longest time, I would swear I would see her still laying there when I looked through though the frosted glass. . It seemed so real until I opened the shower door, and she wasn't there. It happened every day for about 2 or 3 months and then I stopped seeing her. Sigh. Sniff, sniff.

ADD:

Foolish me. I was so involved with telling you my story, that I forget to tell you that I'm sorry for your loss. I know what's it's like to lose a beloved pet, but I'm happy that you saw her again.

The mind is very strong. You are grieving. No one can answer this question for sure, but the best way to keep your dog from being "stuck in limbo," is to talk to her in your heart - and let her go.

My dog died recently too, and is buried in our backyard. If she was suffering before, you are suffering more now. You can carry her in your heart forever, and I think dogs know when that are loved that much. It is time to let her go - and she will no longer be stuck.

Have you seen, "The Rainbow Bridge?" I've seen it before, but our Vet sent it in a card. It goes;

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of
meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water, and warm spring weather.
Those old and frail animals are young again.
Those who have been maimed are made whole again.

They play all day with each other.
But there is one thing missing, they are not with their special
person who loved them on earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one
suddenly stops playing and looks up.
Their nose twitches, their ears perk up, their eyes are
staring, and then suddenly one runs from the group.
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend
meet once again,
You take them in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again; you look once more into
the eyes of your beloved, trusting friend.

That's when you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never to
be separated again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It won't stop hurting for a while, but eventually it will. Let yourself grieve, and don't be afraid to talk to your friends and family about it.

After our cat died, for a while I would regularly feel him jump onto the bed with me in the mornings; I would open my eyes to see nothing there. Years later, after our dog died, I had one very vivid dream about chasing a kite with her and with our remaining dog. When I woke up, the remaining dog was stretched out beside me with her head on my pillow. I like to think we were sharing the dream. :)

I think that is cool. I've never seen any of my deceased pets, but, I thought I might have heard one barking once.....thought I was hearing things! Good to know that others have this experience....wish I did. And I agree, I think they just try to reassure us that they are ok.

yes, I had I siberian husky that had liver cancer and had to be put donw last december 12th. it was really hard for all of us because she wasn't our dog she was my baby sister, and to my parents another child. thanksgiving was really hard for us this year because she wasn't well behaved and she always used to bark and bark and bark for scraps and psuh our arms in hopes to knock food out of our hands. it was annoying but soemthing we really miss. the whole day though I felt she was with us. that night my sister's cat kept following something that no one could see, and then she stop all cautious like whatever she was following had stopped and looked at her. then she run and hide and get puffy. my sister heard her nails tapping on our hardwood floors and I heard her barking. I know she's happier now, and still watches over us. it's nice to know she still visits.

I'm sure you're dog is not stuck between worlds, she probably just wanted to let you know she is okay. be happy you got to see her and know she's still with you.

Yes I have some of those spiritual things happening to me also. I think they love us as much as we love them if not more. I have seen and heard in the spirit and I think it's ok just let it come and then let it go. "Heaven is a place where all the pets we have ever loved come out to greet us when we arrive"
