So on Friday night I was driving home with my friend and see a little white do running in the middle of the street. We tried to pick it up so it wouldn't get hurt but it kept running from me. After 30 minutes we gave up and hoped it would be ok but then today I was driving home and once again I see a little white dog running in the middle of the street again. I was the only person to stop and try to get the dog out of the road but it was runing off and almost got hit by a couple cars. Finally, I got it to get into a neighborhood. All the dog did was stare at me and run off. So once again I couldn't help the dog so I just hope it is ok. The only reason I ask is because I have never seen a little white dog running a street within two days and acted similar. I am a dog person so of course I am going to try and help it. It's just that both times they ran away. The dogs were in two different locations, kinda far from each other but both times I was on my way home. Its a little strange!!

My dog is outside often, and he's constantly breaking off twigs and sticks from plants and shrubs outside.

He's already done a load of damage, and it's hard to catch him in the act. How can I stop him from this bad behavior?

My wife and I adopted a mellow beagle from a rescue agency two months ago. We love him very much and is a wonderful dog except we cannot get him 100% potty trained. We crate him and immediately take him outside in the morning and in the afternoon. However, he still marks indoors when he's out of our sight. We clean every time thoroughly with an enzyme cleaner, but he continues to mark new areas in the house. This happens only when he is just out of our sight and about 3-5 times a week. He is getting neutered tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that is supposed to help. What else can we do to fix this problem? He is otherwise our perfect dream dog.

I want to buy a pure bread puppy, (more specifically a pit bull) and I was wondering what the best questions are to ask breeders. One particular breeder only vaccinates his puppies at six weeks old. (is that late for first vaccinations?) On the day that the someone buys one of his puppies breeder and the buyer go to the vet together for a general checkup and shots – the breeder doesn’t pay for the vet bill either. Also, this particular breeder only gives a two day warranty on his puppies. I want to buy a puppy that is healthy and strong, and that won’t show symptoms of parvo or some other horrible puppy killing disease a week or two after I bring him or her home. What’s the best way to go about doing this?

My sis's dog would not eat the heartworm medicine. I have tried to wrap it with ham and chicken BUT the dog will "unwrapped" the ham and chicken, and leave the heartworm medicine on the floor. Anyone has any other tricks? (besides shoving it down the dog's throat?) GOSH! Please help!!

My dog ate a peanut that fell on the floor this afternoon and it made me think, if people can have potentially fatal allergies to food, chemicals and things in the environment, can animals react in similar ways?

Okay It's freezing here in Wy. And I have a really high strung border collie who REALLY needs exercise. But it's SOOOO cold outside. And no I DON'T have a treadmill. Whenever I take her out it's only for a couple minutes and I feel so guilty. Another thing she's in a kennel when I'm not outside because she chases cars and I don't want her to get run over. I feel so bad. Help!!
