www.akc.org has all the REAL dog breeds. Not a Pekapoo or Labradoodle in sight.

Whatever the back yard breeders decide to mix and give a name to and call it a breed, even though it is a mixed breed, not a "real" breed. Damn BYB - anything for money.

real breed or made up breed??
real breeds have registration papers.. not just fancy names
I would suspect either the NEWFOUNDLANDER or CHESAPEKE BAY RETRIEVER as being one of the newest breeds.. but even they have been around for many many years...

Hybrids! Basically two purebreds mixed to create a mute that sell for a lot of money because they're called hybrids.
