you nee to paper train the puppy. start by giving the puppy a box and give it paper and a towel to sleep on. the puppy will not go on the towel but the newspaper. then make the area larger as you see if she understands

There's these things you can buy at the store Wal-Mart,Pet Co , ect. called puppy pads. You lay them buy the floor and you can spray a puppy potty training spray on them too which the smell makes them want to pee on them. The spray didn't really work for us but the pads did. Both of my dogs learned on those pads. And they don't soak through like newspapers:) Just try it.Eventually they'll get the hint when they have to pee they go to the door. So when you see them heading that way you can just open the door and let them out:) Good Luck

Okay well I was just talking to my brother earlier on how we trained our dog. Well, it takes patience and time. Every time your puppy goes inside the house tell it "no" and take it outside in the back. Eventually your dog will understand to go to the back door and do something to get your attention. If you keep repeating the same step, your dog will learn to understand you.

My dog finally got the hang of it after a few weeks of potty training.

OK!! I know what to do (this works, trust me!!) crate train for sure.......start with the puppy being in the crate....when you get ready to take her out to eat or play or whatever, make her go straight to the puppy pad, don't let her get off until she or he goes....talk in a stern voice and say "go potty" or whatever make it short and simple. If she gets off put her back....she or he will get the point that she must go b4 she can do anything else....TRUST ME it works my puppy is now trained to go potty on the pad and will not use it on the floors......after she eats don't let her run around all over the house. That might cause her/him to get excited and go.....small area only (just during this training time)to allow for excercise. I hired a professional trainer and all to help me so I'm telling you it works.....try to keep your pups eating times on a schedule.....this helps you know when she might have to go....if you can't do that due to work or school.....let her eat and let her out to play then stop her in the middle of play and say "go potty" she will get it.......and if she makes a mistake say " NO NO" in a stern voice. The trainer told me keep your commands short and stern and they will pick up on everything your are trying to teach her/him. Hope this helps! It does work stick to it....good luck!

thats what puppies do
if you wanted a house trained dog why did you get a puppy/??

crate train it.. dont use the crate for punishment
better food = less poop

go out every time and give instant soft treat reward..
consistancy is the key to successful house training...

be patient since it is just a puppy, house training is a chore and it takes a long time for some dogs
