We just rescued a small dog from the pound. She seems to be part lab, part ridgeback, she weighs about 50 pounds. My problem is we have a pet rabbit who lives in our back yard, and is free. We also have 2 other dogs who have no problem with the bunny. This new one thinks the bunny is the enemy, and when she sees her she goes into full alert mode, and chases him whenever she can.

I've tried taking her out on her leash with a choke collar, and petting the bunny at the same time, and she seems fine with it, just sits there nicely. I pet her when I do it, and tell her good girl.

This seems to work at the moment, but then she'll spot him in the yard, and randomly take off after him.

He has ways to get out of the yard (and get back), and he has places to hide, but I don't like playing this cat and mouse game. I want the dog to learn, and i'm looking for ideas to help speed up the process.

My 1 year old cockapoo is deathly afraid of bathes, and has a pathological fear of water yet she'll gladly go in lake water as long as she can touch the bottom of the lake bed. But still, is that normal in dogs?

My dog has started peeing in the bedroom when i have to close her in there. I have tried all the deodorizers and scent neutralizers that are on the market and nothing seems to have worked as she is still doing it. I have tried scolding her when she does it and praising her when she goes outside. I am at wits end with this problem............

I dreamp about several dogs. As I went to my front door I looked across the street at my neighbors house and I saw a small dog and a wolf, next thing I knew, the small dog was in my house alone with another small dog, the wolf ran across the street to get to my house and was at my front door trying to get in, I pushed the door on him but he was still pressing against the door I finally was able to block him from getting into my house.

I don't know what that was about I have no fear of dogs.

Just Joshing! But seriously folks, when this 'Where can I get a miniature _______ dog?' fad ends, do you think people will swing the other way & start asking 'Where can I get a giant Chihuahua?' ? What do you predict will be the next pet craze? Just curious.

I've got a dog with such sensitive skin and allergies, he's even unable to use the DVM "Relief" shampoo sold at the vet. I found out the new shampoo I ordered online (Allermyl?) is backordered, and I have to clean him soon! Would Johnson's No Tears baby shampoo work, or anything else?

I have had my puppy for about a month and half and he goes in his litter box when I put him in it and sometimes on his own, but then sometimes he decides he doesn't have to and he knows he is naughty when he doesn't. Sometimes he will just go right outside of his box. I just want to know how much longer it will be till he gets it. I work with him consistently.

We have a 5 year old Pomeranian that was given to us by a friend. The thing is he will not go in the little floor protection pads that you get from the store. We take him out in the morning and throught the day and he goes sometimes outside but a few minutes later he does his thing inside the house but not on the floor pad. What is the best way to train him to use the floor pad?
